But I really like having the speed of the second fitting. It's tough deciding sometimes during a match. So, how do you run your Gal scout. The two range amps are great but you're only scanning 40.5....way too easy for people to get below...that's with max skills. You could probably go without amps to be honest, you're a RR scout so you're not relying on scanning (if you are people will fall below it). Also no damps? I know you can get below ADV really easily with just skills but you still have to face the Pro scanner. In pubs you may get away with that but no where else. Actually even in pubs I'm seeing nothing but Pro scanners and focused scanners. So maybe no damps is the way to go.

And scanning at 73m, even if I do get scanned, if I can see you as well then it doesn't matter, you still have to catch me, and for most that is very difficult. This is how I run my Gal scout, if you can force them into a tight area REs will make short work of anyone. When you can see them coming REs are an absolute blast (pun intended). Shotguns are great from corners...but man do I get massacred in all these open maps. It's really hard now though because I've seen a lot more focused scanners on the field...even in pubs, granted those may have been proto death squads. The focused scanner kills this playstyle because it is nigh impossible to beat.

The RE's get a lot of work done with the good passive range/precision and the SCR is a very useful and versatile weapon despite the overheating drawbacks: being able to hit-and-run with a charged shot, unloading until I overheat to kill a heavy, etc. I also run a Federation gk.0 with double KinCats, Codebreaker and CardReg with R-9's as a rapid uplink deployer and hacker for the early game.
