So the idea is that this will give everyone enough time to deploy or move out before being forced to spawn in one area, leading to the occasional spawn raping til a redberry destroys the uplink. So basically if the match is over 14:50 or 14:30 seconds then uplinks are treated as if they're not there and afterwards they work the same as usual. |

The basic idea is to prevent getting spawned camped for the first part of a mach because a blueberry decided to drop an uplink before checking the surroundings, giving easy kills to the enemy just so they get some easy war points. It's basically saying has te match been going on for 30 seconds, if yes then allow spawns on uplink, if no then don't.
I'd prefer the second option but figured this would be a much easier to implement. |

I see, unfortunately the spawning system seems to stick you wherever there be many blues so you'd end up together anyway. I'd much rather spawn in a group of blues than reds. |

Guess how many blues spawned over there? Maybe 2 or so...
Judging from this it might be better to completely remove uplinks, but you will still spawn near your allies unless they all died, but you know blue dots have a IQ of 64 so they immediately spawn again and otherwise the reds will have scanned you in a eye blink and rush your new spawn position in .34 seconds.
CONCLUSION: Uplinks aren't the problem, the spawn system is (and 64-IQers), which has been know for ages.
It depends, most people like to go to the center of the map or wherever the action is unless they know they want to do something else, usually deploy vehicles or snipe. If you put uplinks in good spots for that then you'll get more spawns. |
