To clarify, AE never took a district from TP until Arirana started glitching...and the 2nd district they took? was in the FEC war when I had to play over 30 battles a night, jumping from PC to PC because we held 2x as many districts as they do.

TP > AE until TP quit.

And when you got districts...you got them attacking 187...a corp on their last leg..way to go. And districts you did get? Well the record of AE vs TP pre arirana glitching was 14-3. After? Well let's just say during the FEC war I think AE helped flip 2 districts which we took back the next week with a clone pack (yes we took a districts with a clone pack, and won the other with 2 clone packs. And then the next week around friday I left for FFIVX with 6 of the A-team, the shotty twins quit the game, Xero went to play DCUO, spinner became a full time father (Miss you Spinner! <3), and many others couldn't play.

What was a major factor in us not enjoying dust anymore? AE glitching...maybe that's the one parallel

I do remember why I joined AE, and no I highly doubt you still have the mail. There were several reasons:

At the time OH recently pissed me off in a way I'd rather not talk about so I joined AE to fight them.

Zbroadway and many others in AE were ex Arrogance members and invited me to join, as at the time I didn't have a corp that would give me the dose of PC I craved for while at the same time not being completely filled with a bunch of honkies with no regard for alliance members being anything besides pawns. (thats ok though cause I chose to forgive and forget, until they did it again).

Another reason would have to be that I wanted to participate in the tourney but none of the Eon teams I checked with first would have me.

Those were my reasons for joining AE, though now I have new reasons for staying.

Rather, in my opinion perhaps the corp that stopped exploiting and has reverted to the side of good and tears is less of hypocrites than the side that reverted from the side of good and tears to being the exploiters.

Zat justifies his exploiting for tear farming and the fact that we blued up all the competition and would purge them from MH altogether if he didn't exploit. That sounds vaguely familiar. Maybe because thats the exact position we came from.

To explain this concept to you quickly, lets use an analogy. Child B Steals a Cookie from Child A. Child A cries about it, Child B finds satisfaction in Child A's tears. Child A then steals a Cookie from Child B the next day. Child B accepts this payback and moves on.

Is this equivalent exchange? No, it's not.

Until Child B cries about it, and Child A finds satisfaction from Child B's distress and anger, the exchange isn't equivalent.

Of course FA wasn't around during the melee glitch, members of FA were, and are currently fill ins for Child A. The scales of hypocrisy are even quite even, as AE are hypocrites for harboring an exploiter, then complaining about exploiting. While FA's hypocrisy comes from complaining about AE exploting, then exploiting themselves.
