Basically, if I don't choose gallente as my race, I'll be the worst newberry ever...especially if I choose MN. I would wager more MN players quit after their first day than GA players BC THEIR SUIT IS MADE OF PAPER. While this is honestly a troll post, it could have some truth behind it. This game is impossible as a MLT M-1 newberry frontline.
Perhaps giving STARTER FITS MILITIA VERSIONS OF THEIR NATIVE RIFLE is a good idea. Combat Rifle is toes best rifle.

i do pretty well in any Minmatar suit. They just compliment me.
Minmatar Assault.
Sidearm King.
SMG's and Pistols. Melting armour, and blowing heads off. +60

All else aside, I think the starter fits should definitely all be updated with their racial variants.

Gallente starter fittings have biggest practical use - just try to fit DropUplink on other racial suits.
