I predict we'll see a preview of MTACs but it'll be presented as concept art drawn by CCP SoxFour using the small box of Crayons. CCP Praetorian will attempt to announce something in funny way but the forums will erupt due to a misunderstanding and CCP Logibro will then have to calm the masses for weeks to come. During the final presentation a beautiful video of summer DUST content (one new pistol and the Quafe Commando gk.0) will cause all EVE players to complain that their game has been left to rot despite just being given the blueprints to build their own stargates.
All you weirdos smell funny so I'll be staying home wearing nothing but last year's virtual Quafe t-shirt watching the devs suffer from extreme hangovers and attempting to give presentations in their second language.
TL;DR: it'll be fun! I will be buying the $20 HD stream to get the goodies. Please remember to give merc virtual attendees something cool this year.

Last year CCP had a page on the EVE account management site to buy it using PLEX. They pretty much screwed the DUST players with that move. Time to contact your local community representative and tell them you don't want to be treated as a second class citizen this time.

This year they'll announce that they'll make Dust subscription based, I hope.
I'd much rather prefer that and a balanced game to this consistantly inconsistent rebalancing, nerfs and buffs.
I refuse to believe that their constant fumbling and introduction and nerfing of a new set of so called FOTM stuff every couple of months is due to their incompitance, they just can't be that bad.
its a deliberate strategy to sell aur items and boosters to keep people wanting to spec into the next best thing.
I bet they're laughing their asses off, watching us discuss various balance issues that they offset by intention.
In either case, not going to fanfest, I might emberass myself.
(A few obvious deliberate scenarios)
- Call logi suit (in retrospect) were obviously OP from the start, did they not see it? And a suit nerf, an armor buff and a shield nerf later an its very weak indeed. Can you honestly say that the old cal logi suit was OP compared to todays Gal logi that can tank way more armor than the cal logi ever could tank shields, and get it back at a 140 hp per second on top of it?
- The whole lets sell aur contact nades very cheaply and nerf them to hell a short time after.
- The whole flaylock fiasko, from god mode to close to useless, same goes somewhat for lasers.
- I could go on.
If I'm wrong, and there really isn't any business strategy behind all this nonsensical balancing scrubbery, if this is all really done with intent to improve the game, well, I'm at a loss for words....
