Add militia racial rifles instead of just militia assault rifles. Add repair tool to medic fitting. One fitting must have militia nanohives, either anti-armor, or the the frontline fit.

Mlt scout: light frame, shotgun, smg, locus, nano hive, armor rep. All mlt obviously will have to check if it fits first I would rather fit a scanner and a flux but there are no mlt variants.

The stats on current suits are fine for the suits. As you can see I added some things that aren't here but should be. IMO when you chose your race your starter fits should match the games current content. And ALL weapon, nades and equipment should have a MLT variant. Suits from scratch should give a good insight of what you'll get at max.
So choosing Caldari will get you: Frontline (MLT assault variat with MLT RR) Sniper (MLT assault variant with MLT Sniper rifle) Medic (MLT Logistics variant with RR)
Gallente: Frontline (MLT assault variat with MLT AR) Scout (MLT light variant with MLT shotgun) Medic (MLT Logistics variant with AR)
Amarr: Frontline (MLT assault variat with MLT SCR) Commando (MLT commando with MLT laser rifle and MLT SCR) Medic (MLT Logistics variant with SCR) Heavy (MLT Heavy with MLT HMG)

Honestly, IWS, tell CCP that they're ******* kidding themselves if they think they can redo the militia starter fits without making militia versions of all weapons. But CCP is too greedy with their neo weps, so it'll never happen. Selfish *****, sacrificing the game in the name of profit.

If that was the case, they wouldn't have LP items that cost no skill points (basically the same as the neo AUR weapons). I don't like the lack of militia items, but your claim is unfair.

I've already done it on other threads. Getting sick of posting, so I'll keep it short:
-Give all races their own militia rifle. Caldari: Rail; Minmatar: Combat; Amarr: Scrambler; Gallente Plasma Rifle
-Remove side arm from all medic suits and put second equipment for repper so they can do actual medic stuff. Maybe give them a flux to do more supporting?
-Give all suits at least one rep module on their suits to go easy on the new guys a little bit.
-Caldari have shield extenders, Minmatar have rechargers, Amarr have armor reps, and Gallente have plates.
-Snipers should be reworked (as in the Rifles; more damage)
-Anti-armor should be damage based, so more light damage mods on all suits.
-Assault are fine imo, just need to replace a few mods with changes I've given above (like reppers. I know the Amarr don't have them)
I know I had more on this, but I forgot what I saida few months ago.
Maybe have a starter scout and heavy?

Why do starter fits have to be medium suits? Starter fits should include all frame sizes.
The PC and SL should fit into the Sidearm slot so it's accessible and practical to carry one.

After that they need to add all the heavy race weapons/suits and make mlt variants of them all, and give each race a starter fit of that.
Then a starter fit of the scout.
These should be the four starter fits:
Frontline: assault mlt
Medic: logi mlt
Scout: scout mlt
Gaurdian (or whatever): heavy mlt
And all of these should come with mlt versions of their race specific weaponry. Any suits created beyond these should be treated as specialty roles and do not get mlt gear (like the commando or the pilot)
There you go, now every thing is fixed.
Then, after that, it's pretty easy.
Fest of all, if we're talking about noob survivability, make the compact nano a Lv 1 militia item.

It's pretty clear the general consensus is that other size frames need to be included in the starter fits to really show the new players what possibilities are out there. I'm tempted to say Gallente and Minmatar should get plasma cannon as their starter AV fit while Caldari and Amarr use swarm launchers (until all races have a light AV weapon), but the weapon sucks right now. Hopefully in the future.
Make the sniper fit a light frame.
Add a shotgun light frame with militia shotgun and militia kinetic catalyzer, and militia profile dampener if can be fitted.
Add a militia heavy with militia forge gun.
Add a militia heavy with a militia HMG (seriously, every weapon needs a militia variant).
All frame sizes must be represented.

You're actually wrong. IWS actually asked for medium suits, all militia gear, that's true. But... Nowhere does he say no new equipment should be included.
I think t's safe to say that it is almost universal opinion that starter fits should have their own racial equipment.

Right now the only all MLT fit worth using is this-
MLT Gallente medium MLT AR MLT nades 3x MLT plates(with only 3 slots its not worth putting a repper on) MLT nanohive MLT SMG
w/ 0 sp invested its like 465 armor 120 shields, while the only MLT weapons capable of killing are shotguns,ARs,SMG, and grenades. Even the MLT AR outperforms shotguns though, and you can't expect new players to use a shotgun all that well, considering the scanners abundance.

All frame sizes must be represented. I agree most things should have a militia variant but have this many starter fits would really discourage new players from crafting their own fits as they'll have infinite amounts of all the essentials so they can basically use those until they have enough sp to get adv and they won't fully understand what makes a good fit

When a new guy starts they get the 500K ISK, along with a Heavy, Light and Medium militia BPO suit of their faction, along with some militia BPOs of all sorts. So they learn how to create classes and whatnot. Once they reach 1 Mill ISK and the tutorial has shown them how to create a fitting and buying stuff all the BPOs are taken off them. If they reach 50K ISK they get a militia medium and militia weapon BPO, nothing else. Once they get 500K ISK the BPO's are taken back off them.
This forces people to buy from the market using aurum or ISK. |

Most of the suggestions in this thread would NOT fit within the CPU/PG requirements of a MLT Suit for a Starter Character with NO SKILLS that Boost CPU/PG. (as the term Starter Fit implies...)
When designing a Starter Fit everyone should take each Race's Basic MLT Suit Slot Layout and CPU/PG into consideration and Fit it out within these limitations.

I really hope people will actually fullfill the request instead of dancing around the topic. I'm not good enough to do it, but this is an important step. I imagine it might lead to other similar requests, if the results are good. |

im pretty sure these would fit the pg/cpu needs they have now even if they all bpo's it wouldn't matter to much because most people would only use them for when they are low on isk
