Using standard assault rifles with 60 rounds at 34 hp of dmg each hit. (basic un-upgraded soma)
It takes 5 assault rifles to kill a soma in 1 clip.
Anyone care to prove it? |

And Do light weapons even register on vehicles anymore? |

well ars only do like 10% and less to vehicles. your math is flawed

I dont think its possible for enough people to weild a AR in a match to do enough damage to take out a tank in 1 clip. |

It's funny when I see blues firing their ARs at tanks. It's painfully funny. The laughter stops when I'm making moves to round the tank in cover and the dumb berry besides me fires at the tank. You can almost see a smile form on the tank's face. Thanks for the wasted clone dumb berry.

There is definitely some flawed math here. I've had five scrambler rifles firing at my soma, that is to say that weapons specialized against shields were firing at my shields, and doing **** for damage. No anti-personnel weapons will kill a tank unless its armor hits < 300.

Alight weapon efficiency on tanks are 10% of their strength.
That means it'll take 50 ARs to kill a tank

hmmm... i think it would have to be in a place where ff is enabled.. and every 1 is working together to kill the tank with their ars...
allthough i dont think it would happen..

WOW! So a thales sniper rifle does over 350 hp dmg but will only tickle vehicles. Kinda like a .50 cal barrett sniper rifle will only tickle a tank, makes perfect sense. Smh! |

There is a baret light 50 that has a depleted uranium round :) Probably not effective vs a modern tank but i am betting a tank from a less developed nation would feel the thud. |

I was being sarcastic, but I think a .50 cal would do dmg to a modern tank, especially firing a depleted uranium round. I also think sniper rifles should do 3/4 of their full dmg to lavs n 1/2 their dmg to dropships n havs. |
