I would really like to see at least one CPM0 in CPM1 for continuities sake and to get the rest of CPM1 up to speed faster. Since none of the other CPM0 seem to be even considering it, I really hope you run jenza. I appreciate the sentiments, thanks. I'll wait a bit to see who else sticks their hand up before making a decision.

They've been putting in more time and effort than you can imagine. :) The questions is what they've been putting time into. I've seen some CPM members push for changes made to the game that were frankly unecessary. The first thing that comes my mind was screwing with the swarm launcher lock on duration. I remember thinking why they hell would they focus on this. I personnally don't like the game being tailored by the tastes of a few. CCP ought to just make a solid plan for the year with set goals rather than 'lets develop this new patch without deadlines, design first and balance later, using advice from players with a vested interest in thier personal style of play''

There's bias points of view (yours) then theres well informed and experienced bias points of view. What appears to be more acceptable?

This thread was simply supposed to be advice for the next lot and to try and discourage some of the idiots from applying. And now half the community wants you to run again just to **** off The Furtive Pygmy....

Really? Like Jenza not being seen or heard anywhere untill after taking credit for pushing for freindly fire FW?? I'm sure that was an issue taking precedent on the minds of dust players .Or , like Heinrich admitted, the CPM gtting all of thier personal suggestions for Suit bonuses? Must have tons of playerbase feed back on that one. Wait there was none.
Most of it is backed up by reading up on the forums, especially around patch time and watching thier videos.

So you just so happen to miss everything she has done and assumed she'd done nothing?

Seems like CPM is mostly a popularity pageant. The big problem is that CCP doesn't have boots-on-the-ground experience with their own game on live servers. For instance, CCP devs aren't allowed to play in PC. And I don't think the game engine will let them spectate as of current. So the important part is the CPM can convey what players see and realistically contend with to CCP, who's often basing their decisions on their internal test servers otherwise. Ideally, the CPM should have some ability to relay back to players and assist with community relations, but that depends on how lose the NDA is. DUST's NDA is held over people a lot more strictly than EVE, I think. We generally have more of an idea what CCP wants to do in the future from a broad sense compared to DUST.
If what you are saying is true that CCP can't monitor their own game, it's doomed.
Oh, sht! I just learned you can make a signature! Thanks, CCP! Forums are getting better!

I couldn't tell you precisely which dev it was (though I think it was either CCP Pacifier or CCP Saberwing), but I was, among others, chatting with them ingame, and they commented that they had been a member of an active PC corp on their private alt.
I don't think it's reasonable to assume that simply because they're not permitted to enter PC on their main characters, they can't play it at all.
Ludvig Enraga wrote:If what you are saying is true that CCP can't monitor their own game, it's doomed. I also thought that everything was monitored quite closely? Numerically, that is. In the sense that they can tell how much usage of a particular weapon is spiking, how many HAVs called/destroyed, things like that.

A perfect example of this would be The Mitanni, the CEO of goonswarm. He is basically the biggest troll in the new eden universe in charge of a massive troll alliance however he was one of the most productive chairman that the CSM has ever had, love him or hate him, this much is a fact. For this reason, I vote for ReGnYuM. One of the trolliest people in the game since Mr. Z (excluding myself of course ) left as well as one of the most inventive posters in the forums. Like his attitude or not, like his ideas or not, when he makes a serious post about something it has real content in it. Solid ideas, solid arguments, and an overwhelming amount of in-game experience backing them up. (IIRC, he's been here since pre-Replication and in every build has held one of the highest K/D's of any assault player)

The CSM rule is actually 21. It was moved up from 18 at some point for whatever reason. https://wiki.eveonline.com/en/wiki/What_is_the_CSM#Candidate_Eligibility
