So thousands of years in the future and they haven't invented suspension? I hit a bump the other day while driving an HAV and the entire vehicle shot up like it was skate board hitting a rock. Real jeeps have flex and suspension. Suspension works to keep a car on the ground at all times and level by making up the distance to the ground. If you want to make your vehicles feel more realistic and comfortable to drive. I would suggest breaking the HAV into 5 separate parts;1 for the main tank body and 1 each for each tracked part of the tank. You can treat those like individual bricks each having Pitch (front to back) and a little Roll (left to right) with constraints mounted off of the tank body. It will greatly increase the ride quality and feel of the tank. Same goes for the LAVs and their tires, but with the added benefit up an up and down motion. http://www.google.com/imgres?imgrefurl=http%3A%2F%2Fforum.worldofwarplanes.com%2Findex.php%3F%2Ftopic%2F14679-community-aces-air-combat-school%2F&tbnid=Ku14ZLlUviJU_M:&docid=dhfrdk11xToULM Sincerely, A person who wants to see this game be amazing |

I've always thought this too Halo Combat Evolved could do it why couldn't CCP?
Does anyone remember those red Caldari flags in Manus Peak in early (pretranquility) chromosome?

Contemporary Militaries around the world can do this and achieve something remarkable. Tanking like a tyrant, H2 Vs Tank Race a good demonstration of a proper suspension.

Man ... remember before 1.7 when driving a tank and half of the shield usage if you didn't use the supports ( man I miss those mods ) and hitting tough terrain , would go down .
I for one use to hate that .

For LAVs, I'd expect something like this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q8sVDenpPOE
Note that this suspension is so good that it allows the car to jump. I imagine that would be lots of fun for LAVs, especially if infantry gets parcour techniques to balance it. |

You sir get my gold metal for knowing about Bose suspension, but i feel a super rigid dead level vehicle at all times wouldnt be as cool as one that rolls a bit in a corner, purely aesthetics though. |

I posted something similar to this. The current LAV's are clearly not all-terrain vehicles. I hope at least by contrast the Minmatar LAV is a bouncy dune buggy!
