First, the forge gun is broken and does not perform to it's stated specifications. The projectile is suppose to travel "at speeds in excess of 7,000 m/s." If this were true, i wouldn't have to lead a target since most engagements happen at less than 400m, this would mean that my round should reach anything with that range in o.o58 seconds or less. Second, why is my range limited? How am i supposed to engage sissy railgun sniper tanks that don't leave their red line and fire on us with impunity. You have 2 options to correct this. Get rid of the red line or give the forge gun it's proper range. Third, every now and then, usually when it comes down to life or death for an enemy tank, my forge gun will have a dud fire. I will see the round fire, but it's not registered. I don't lose ammo from my clip, the round doesn't register as a hit, and the tank gets away. You have no idea how many vehicles have survived due to this amazing stroke of luck. Forth, when changing to my smg, i sometimes get a hybrid smg forge gun or i come up empty handed. This has got me killed many times and i'm not too happy about it. The smg forge can only be hip fired and coming up without means that i have to cycle my weapons 2 more times. Next to impossible to survive when this happens. |

First off, i'm definately not a noob. Tankers run like scared little girls when i come calling. Second, ishukon assault is proto and hardly a noob gun. Not to mention it's proto and supposed to be super powerful. I have to double up on the damage mods just to get those tank kills and the assault variant is the only one that can do it. Obviously you were never a fulltime dedicated forge gunner like i was. I ran a 9k330 almost every spawn in every match. I never would have switched if they hadn't made tanks so fast or nerfed the forge. You try hitting a moving target that's shooting at you with 4x the shield and armor that you have. Do you want to survive and destroy said target? Because lets face it, you'll be so glad i'm on your team when that tank is taken out by my forge |

I never said it's supposed to be 1337 times better. It's only does a little more damage than the advanced forge guns, which makes it better. The assault has a reduced charge time which is very handy when your prey tries to run away, again making it better. Just because you've used one doesn't mean you are any good with one. |

All i really want is for my forge gun to perform the way it should as per it's description. I don't need it more powerful, i just want the range that should come with a round that travels over 4 miles per second.

It sounds like you were hoping dropships would be the tanks of the sky. Essentially, they are helicopters and if you use themthe same way a modern military would you will take fewer losses.
