(emphasis on learning) DUST surely gets better, but the same old annoying bugs are still there. I am not condoning these attacks of course, but if CCP think they can play this "welcome to new eden" thing all the time, well, common sense tells me they simply have to be prepared for it as well.
oh you giant spoilt piece of **** duchebag.
you have NO idea what it takes to do what they do. ESPECIALLY these guys who have to wade through sonys heavyhanded BS micromanagement of everything just to change things in their own game?
you dont make games to **** around playing games all the time, you poor literally everything you have into them because you are genuinly passionate about what your making, i know a guy who spent 10 ******* years making a card game in his spare time, thousands and thousands of hours into a game that will never see the light of day because it was just him and a few of us in a basement creating a game for the sheer love of it. THATS the kind of person who makes a game, if you think for one second that ANYONE on that team would be there without absolutly giving everything they have into the project while people like you are around just shitting all over things for fun then you are mistaken.
if you made and sold things for a living and some duchebag came in to the store every day just to **** all over your product and your employees how long would it take you to kick his ass out of your store permanantly do you think?
call me a fanboy and what have you, but im a fan of the kind of people that make games, their passion, their drive, the amount of blood sweat and tears that goes into the tinyest of things, and i may be an amature in compairison but i know first hand what that looks like.

I don't see all of you brown nosers crying about paramedics/firefighters/police officers/ military personnel having to do much harder work, most always because of someone else's actions.
I also am pretty sure talking to YOUR customers in this way is not acceptable IN ANY industry. No customer wants to hear an employee ***** about how hard they have it, and no company in the world wants one of their employees crying about their job to their customers.
he was in the right to snap back, in my jobs if you talked to me or mine like that i kick you to the curb and you get your ******* money back and told to stay out.
you talk to a cop/firefighter/paramedic/military man like that i ******* dare you to try and see what happens

This game is Free-To-Play. Simply participating does not make you a customer. And I'm sorry that CCP Falcon said something to you that didn't involve giving you a bib and some Apple Juice to sip on. He said something, and you didn't like it. HTFU. He's not here to pamper you.
not only that but its acceptable in ANY industry to kick that kind of "customer" to the curb
simply put customers like that are bad for buisness, they drive away other costomers in DROVES, and so its more profitable and better for basically EVERYONE else if you give em what for and remove them from the equasion.

1) Every person here is a potential customer, and every CCP poster here is a representative of the company. Behavior like Frame's here is completely unacceptable, and reflects poorly on CCP and dust.
2) Dust is not a charity, it is an attempt by CCP to make money. They are not doing this out of the goodness of their hearts, they want to make money,
3) Frame and the rest are not volunteers, they get paid well for their efforts, otherwise they wouldn't be there. Crying about your job to your customers is unacceptable.
4) You two are the absolute worst type of people. The kind that will overlook any behavior, no mater how incredibly out of line, because you have a crush on someone. Wait until some facial hair starts growing in, your balls drop, your voice stops cracking, and you get a real job before coming back here. I am done talking to pre-pubescent children.
in a real job you analyze the benifits of keeping a customer vs losing that costomer. the answer isnt always to keep them. its a matter of weather or not that costomer is going to bring in more revenue then they will cost you to keep.
games are a different animal, people dont make makes as a means to make money becuase lets face it, most people who make games dont make any money whatsoever. they do it for passion, it just so happens that the company who hires them is doing it to make money off of what they create, but the devs arnt doing it for the money, and givin the absence of money would still be making games on their own in their spare time anyways, with equal passion.
ive lead a few teams in the professional world, and if a client talked to my guys like that i drop the account, losing one of my team to that BS will cost me more money then keeping the account and losing a member of the team. Your havnt seen anything till youve watched a 5 foot nothing ball off attitude knee a poisonous client in the balls, and i have to say worth every penny lost on that account, and i backed her up on it too. |
