I have to admit, Warframe is actually kind of fun... I need to get my RAM upgrade for this computer soon.

Zephyr looks like she can jump extra EXTRA high. Like. Very high. And 2 of her powers help out mobility on the field. Here's her Warframe Profile. As you can see by watching the video, they get pretty high into the air. I don't know if that's a mod, or she has a boosted jump capability, but yea. It's also a possibility that activated the power just boosts you into the air, but it seemed like they were jumping AND THEN activated the power (also they activated Tail Wind and didn't get boosted into the air).
My clan is already working on Researching her, so when I get it, I'll let you know how it is. It's likely that I'll just pay some $$$ to get her, because I just waited 3 days to get Rhino, and it was painful, almost.

Glad you tried it out! If you tell us your Steam Username (assuming you have Steam), we can set up a night of Steamy Dusting in Warframe. I'm farming levels on Rhino right now. He's a beast. I soloed the Mercury boss at level 5. Iron Skin = Best skin. At first, I thought it only boosted your shield capacity to 900, but it turns out all the Rhinos just fit maxed out Redirections, and Iron Skin actually makes you flat-out invincible. :P
But yay, Zephyr!
Again, list your Steam Username below if anyone wants to join us, and we can hang out (assuming we play the same games). :D

She has lower gravity acting on her, it feels like. Tailwind lets you jump pretty high as well, I'm not sure if it'll get better as you upgrade.
I haven't tried dive bomb or turbulence yet, needed to level her up a bit, but the abilities so far seem meh. The ult might be good for CC if it works on high end enemies but it's a bit too unreliable. Tailwind is a cool navigation tool but the damage application is sporadic.
On a side note, bring out your Latron Prime. Jesus - I used triple forma on it and now it's been buffed madly.

Ah, you bought her. I don't know why I thought you wouldn't. Decided to not wait, once you realized it's not a boss farming deal? xD
Ah, I don't have Latron Prime. I wanted to get Paris Prime, but I never found the time to farm. And now I'm going to sell my keys/mods for Platinum so I can buy Zephyr. Anyone need an almost-maxed Redirection and lots of Void Keys?

Waframe... There's a weapon mod called "Split Chamber". Basically, it gives you weapon a chance to fire 2 shots, instead of one, at the cost of one. That means double RoF basically, double damage, double status chance, everything.
It's the rarest mod in the game, I'd say. People spend MONTHS farming for this thing. I've never seen any interest in it myself, as it seemed like it would take a long time to get, and I didn't care to work that long for it.
One of our very own DUSTers, Arkena Wyrnspire (probably spelled that name wrong), farmed for months to get it, and finally got it not through combat, but transmutation (melding mods together). It cost him about 60k total credits, give or take? 30k for a failed transmutation, 30k for the Split Chamber. That's a lot.
We're hanging out, doing missions, and he's like "You should get a Split Chamber. It's really worth all the grinding.", and I said "Sure, if it works on bows, it sounds good". And then we go into a mission. Wave 5 of the defense mission, we were JUST TALKING about Split Chamber, and on Wave 5, it was given as a reward. What took Arkena months to get, I got in about 10 minutes. GG, random loot. GG.
But now he can sell his extra for lots of platinum!

OK, my amazing luck continues!
There's a really rare boss named Stalker. To get him to spawn, you basically need to beat a lot of regular bosses, and then run random missions, and he has a 1.5% chance of spawning (+0.5% for each other player). He uses a special set of weapons - Dread (a bow), Despair (throwing knives), and Hate (scythe). IF you kill Stalker (not too likely unless you have super powerful weapons, as when he gets to 10% HP he starts to escape), he has a chance to drop a blueprint to craft one of his weapons. Overall, counting the spawn rate of Stalker, the drop rate of his weapons, and the chance to kill him, I'd say it would take a looong time to get one of his weapons. Arkena might know actual numbers, but I'd say the chance of getting a Dread through Stalker is lower than 1%, including all factors.
The other day, I was like "You know, Dread seems like a good bow. And I'm crafting Cernos (one of the 3 bows, I already have the 1st), so I might as well pick Dread up too... I'll find a way to farm him."
The very first mission I joined today, when I spawned in, they were in the middle of killing Stalker. I literally could not fire off a single shot before they murdered him.
He dropped a Dread Blueprint.
So now I'm crafting it. \o/

Maybe one day I'll have a proper gaming rig. For now, I just play minecraft on PC. I mostly use it to work, that's why. |

Yea, it's completely understandable that you wait until you have a proper PC for it. To be honest, I probably don't have a good build either. I have a pre-built Dell laptop. It's still a very powerful machine (running Warframe at 50 FPS most of the time), but it can't stand up to a PC gaming desktop. I just like the portability of this. I like being able to not have a life no matter where I go! :D
Aaanyways, if you start Steam back up again, you can still hang out with us. You don't need to play the games, but we're always happy to add another person to our little group of people. <3

Also, EVEN more amazing luck, followed by team stupidity.
I went into a mission, and guess who spawned? Stalker. I had a chance, AGAIN, to get the Hate or Despair (2 of his 3 weapons, I have the 3rd already). And I almost killed him. Normally he has a decent amount of health, but thanks to the ability to fire 2 arrows at once, +90% Damage, AAAAND critical shots, I was putting in a good amount of DPS, bringing him down to about half shield in a single shot.
The thing is: It takes multiple people to kill him. He only focuses on one person, normally the 'target' (Stalker is a bounty hunter/vengeful assassin). I was the target. He also has an ability that can OHK just about anything (doing 1200 damage). My team, for some reason, didn't want to help kill him. Which means he had no one to distract him. Which meant I was insta-killed after I brought him to 50% health. At which point, he teleported away. Sadface. Because my team didn't want to help murder him (and we easily could have), we all missed out on Despair and/or Hate. Yay, I suppose. #sadface

Hey guys... My name is Xavier Sorraine and I... I have an addiction... To Nosgoth. \o/
Yea, I signed up like, what, 6 months ago? And FINALLY got my Alpha/Closed Beta key. So I'm just playing it non-stop. Always. It's just so fun!
Nosgoth is a third-person HumansVSVampires shooter-type thing. And it's sooo perfectly balanced. It's a Closed Beta and it does a better job of balancing than DUST does.
Humans (Losers) - ONLY Ranged, using Crossbows, Hand Cannons, and Bows. - Plenty of traps and gadgets to catch the Vampires. - Weapons to plenty of damage per shot, making it pretty easy to kill a Vampire head-on. - Heal at supply stations.
Vampires (My favorite <3) - ONLY Melee, using claws, teeth, etc. - No traps, but they CAN climb buildings (and the Sentinel can fly). Vampires are also in a constant-sprinting state. - Weapons (claws and stuff) aren't insanely hard-hitting, but Vampires have such amazing flanking and ganking ability it doesn't matter*. - Heal by 'executing' dead enemies. Meaning you need to kill people to survive. I'm not too great at it yet.
The balance: Humans have tons of firepower and can hit a Vampire from way far away (where a Vampire is helpless), while the Vampires can sneak on rooftops and if given the proper chance, tear people to shreds (except the Tyrant which is just a tank).
*Be me. VERY start of the match, I'm crawling on some rooftops. I see a group (about 4 people, which is max team size), and start charging up a 'Pounce' (the Reaver's special ability. Reaver is stealth-based sort of). I activate Pounce, jump off the building, land on top of a guy, and tear him to pieces. And then, just as I'm getting off of the guy, before any of the hunters knew what was up (I got the one in the back meaning they saw nothing), my team comes in blinding them and ripping their hearts out! We only lost one guy in that engagement, who was stupid and did a failed pounce and just landed in the middle of enemy fire. Basically: With the right timing, Vampires can crush pretty much anything. We proceeded to slaughter the match, and I think the end score was 27-18.
Aaaaanyways, put your Steam username so we can add you to the club!
