I fight for Gallente occasionally. Usually only when my random squad joins a random FW without asking. Also, saw Zap talking about this in the chats. His view is that he's just a mercenary and he'll fight for who ever he wants, because he needs different types of LP gear.

The Caldari State needs soldiers who actually know how to fight. The current state of the Caldari Merc Corps is so pathetic as to make Gallente FW matches easier than pubs. Heck, I heard the Feds are sending their soldiers into FW space for R&R time.

I'm only found on the Gallente side when I am forced to (which is a rare occasion). Other than that, I try my hardest to defend the State.

I would like to show my loyalty to the state. I will take a full squad of alts and go fight for gallente. We all will suiside until our clones run our. Gallente will rage and quit few. That leaves all the rest of the state to clean up the scrubs that stay. Good plan?

Until the State rewards my loyalty adequately, I will remain loyal to my squad and to whatever my corporation at the time may be. All of the races have flaws, regardless, so I feel no definitive moral pull towards one direction. I usually take contracts for Caldari and Amarr because I prefer them; I am not a traitor for playing the other side if my allegiance to the State was never secured for more than a contract at a time.
The State needs players that are worth a damn, even if they occasionally fight for the other side. Marking mercenaries as traitors and going on a witch hunt does naught but scare them away. What is your goal? Do you want an army of loyal mice or an army of men?

Also, FW is flawed as all hell. When its myriad of issues get fixed and the payouts for fighting a losing battle are enough to eat at least a bowl of gruel a day, I'll consider being loyal.
