If they want pc to be the main draw of this game, they should make it easier to keep track of things regarding pc, especially for your alliance. If they think the alliance feature is unimportant, why would they include it in the game. Just to be clear, I'm not refuting you saying that CCP has said that the alliance feature isn't an important part of Dust. I believe you,I just don't understand why they do the things they do.

Notice you can still only tell an alliance exists from the forums, there's no in-game indication of alliance on any screen. And the alliance chat channel only exists by popular demand. Alliances exist in DUST because they exist in EVE, and the ability to add a DUST corp to an alliance from EVE is not preventable from the design of the corp system. Once people were using it, they couldn't exactly refuse to provide access to the alliance channel that EVE already creates anyhow. But they haven't put ANY effort into supporting alliances on the DUST side. Heck, even alliances being able to fire orbitals is something written from the EVE side. Why not have Alliance battles winners provide EVE pilots with different types of special Artillery, Alloys for Ship Armor, Salvage Pod parts, Treasure Relics etc etc? And when eve pilots complete certain DUST missions they can provide, rare weapons, suites, Vehicles, installations etc etc. I would want to win for my pilots so that they eventually progress and help me also get some cool gear or battle changing options for when the corp needs it.--- --posted this on another thread-- See ya in my sights
