And that is not a good thing. I'm getting pretty tired of the utter lack of polish on controller input. I am getting stopped by lag, going into what feels like a crouch out of nowhere, jumping feels like I am jumping into the wind sometimes but not always- just to keep me on my toes ya knows, and I love the running through mud feeling that randomly pops up.
1.8 CCP. Let's do it! Let's polish more than our ARs this time around, and make input controls smooth, responsive, and natural feeling.

Jumping actually seems to be the only way to go with knives- I feel like a flood elite.

try selecting "america" in options, servers.
It is a little bit better for me...

Agreed. Another, but much harder, kill shot is to get ahead of their movements, and let them move into your charged slash. Unpredictability of the expectations you have with mobility make knifing hard in general. You have to deal with low FPS, lag, and this slowing down of movement.
I also feel as though when people start shooting at you it slows you down. Especially a rail rifle. I can hear the sound FX playing and then I slowwwww down and then they start hitting me. If I am able to make it to cover the sprinting action has to be reengaged for you to move fast again.
I began to suspect that it is not a forced crouch tha tI spoke of above, but it more seems like my character sinks down into the ground to his knees and moves slower with a shorter perspective. I thought it was crouching at first. I'll keep trying movements as it happens. Usually I am getting shot up when it is happening so it can be hard to figure out the best fix. I usually die before I can get that far tho :)

Already had that set up. I think lots of people across the pond end up connecting to US servers so it's a wash anyways.

The running through mud glitch can be reproduced by simply doing a quick slash and trying to sprint before the knives finish. Same glitch will occur if trying to sprint while your shotgun is firing a round. Hmmm. Does anyone at ccp even run minja? |

And now a bug has popped up where you pull up the vehicle/orbital menu when you aim down ADS.

1.7 marks the lowest point in dust where it comes to interacting with the game through a DS3.

It makes knifing so painful. You shouldn't have to struggle just to do something as basic as making your toon run upright.
The only way these guys "can't replicate" the issue is by not playing it.
Anyone who slaps on a speed tanked scout suit with knives instantly runs into all kinds of mobility bugs. Are we waiting for devs to grind up enough SP to run these suits or what?
