I've always used "Operator" or "The Operator" as a handle, I added "el" when creating a login for MGO2, since both of my other usuals were taken. I carried it over to DUST as that. Its a comfortable name for me and I think aptly describes who I am and what I do.

My name comes from the game Shadow of the Colossus(one of my favorite games of forever). Each Colossi has several unofficial names. My favorite Colossi, number 16, is named Malus or Grandis Supernus. My name, Supernus Gigas, means Celestial Giant or Star Giant, which is appropriate as I am a Heavy in a Space-Sci-Fi setting. Also my Corporation, is appropriately named Star Giants. Although as it currently stands my corp only consists of four members, me and two of my alts and my friend that plays Dust 514, but no matter, we have fun.
Just you wait. One day, all will fall to their knees before the fatty overlords.

My erstwhile EVE handles are Jadechimera and Obsidianpegasus.
Bellerophon rode Pegasus to go kill Chimera. Emerald just fits the motif.

All of my characters have Wyvern as a last name. I like how it makes them seem like a family group, and I never have to explain that I'm using an alt.
The first name is a reference to the player-character of Ace Combat 04, "Mobius One", which I decided upon when I first got into the beta because I planned to spec into Fighters. I've been a fan of the series for 12 years now, and I was looking forward to having another game to fly in.

Because my real next name sound something like Aqua, yet not even the same.
My other far east name is close to Regia not in characters only a tail.
