I figured it would be easily recognized (good and bad), and if I ended up loving the game, I'd love the name, and if I ended up hating the game, I'd love the irony of the name. So, it stuck, and I think I've been around since May 25, 2012.
Come to think of it, I started as Khazra Khali'un, which was a direct descendent within my characters family, boring RP **** :p So, whenever we had to change names, is as long as I've been DUST Fiend.

My name mostly came from the Ace Combat series. My character was originally inspired by Solo Wing Pixy from Galm team in Ace Combat Zero.
I figured the name "Galm Pixy" wouldn't sound too threatening charging at you in a tank so I decided to use the more traditional word 'fae,' which seemed passable for a Caldari last name.
In the moment when I truly understand my enemy, understand him well enough to defeat him, then I also love him.

I was going to make my character's name Sanya (insert long german last name)
But i got lazy and just smashed something random that sounded like Lynnette Bishop.
Previous character names: Asro(i used this for anything that asked it since i was like 4, went to ask myself 'why?' Googled it and found a tape packaging line)
Nymph/ NymphSenpai/ NinfuShinpai/NinfuSenPaiPai: Sora no otoshimono, cutest one there, SenPaiPai is a little nickname i gave myself, it's a combination of Senpai(mark of admiration used as a suffix) and Pai Pai (8008, boobs, can i say that on the forums?)

Leonid Tybalt is, in my mind, the clone brother of my Eve character Cyrus Tybalt (who has taken a vacation from being a starship pilot until I get around to getting a nee computer).
Cyrus Tybalt was also the name of an NPC in a scenario I wrote and GM:ed with my friends in Warhammer 40.000 Roleplay: Dark Heresy. Who in turn was the clone brother of my player character in the same game.
So in my own personal character mythos that spreads through several fictional settings, theres a sort of fraternal clone connection that binds them all together. |

I seriously thought you did it as a female version of Glenn Beck.
Well I had just finished up reading Inuyasha, and one of the enemies in the series' name was Princess Abi-Hime...and it just stuck in my head.

People who know geography know the origin of my name (or are from Germany). "The Palatinate" is a region near the Rhine river in Germany. Used to be a small principality during 1085-1803 and was a part of "The Holy Roman Empire".
