The Duvolle Focused Active Scanner has a scan precision of 15; to hide from it, you would need raise profile dampening to Lv5, scout specialization to lv5, and have 4 low slots filled with Complex Profile Dampeners.
I propose that the scan precision be raised to 16 so that it would only take 3 complex profile dampeners on a gk.0 to hide from it and maybe make a Federation Duvolle Focused Active Scanner have the scan precision of 15 instead. |

But nerfing it and making a LP version with the same stats as the current one seems like a good idea. There's already a LP nanite injector that gives 100% armor.

I've been scanned before by it and so have others, its not a "perception" problem. Also just because it has a higher PG cost, doesn't mean people still don't use it. |

I've just been lucky I guess. What's you under 28 fitting?
On this alt, I have a Minmatar Scout that has fits with 1 Enhanced Profile Dampener, and that gets me to around a 24 scan profile. |

Hmm. Focused scanner's only benefit is versus that current maximum triple dampened scout. And is not as proto scanner as others on other attributes. An ultimate 100% guaranteed unscannable suit would work vs everyone, always getting benefits from it. Having these certified ghosts on field would really change gameplay. The confidence that would give... Tremendous. And the options it would give, maybe even op. Those are valid points on scan vs damp balancing.
It takes 4 complex dampeners to hide from it, not 3. I'm saying that the precision should be increased by one so that it would take 3 complex dampeners instead of 4 and make a LP version like the original. |
