so i noticed if you dont win a match in FW you get 0 standings with your faction , this is making it incredibly difficult for us caldari and ammar players to progress with our faction due to gallente and minmitar currently dominating 99% of all matches , can we please get some faction standings even if we lose!! otherwise i really dont see the point in playing FW for caldari at all! we are scraping in 75 LP every match whilst gallente and minmitar guys are bringing in 1000 LP a match & thats just not very fair!? |

Totally.
I mean Standings is supposed to congrats the team about their loyalty.
Sorry but Gallente and minmatarr don't have loyalty.....
They enter the game and win lot of Lp.
So YES they continue playing for winning even more items.
Especially Combat rifle which is totally OP AND takes about 5 pg to fit......Advanced.
While Us Caldari and Amarr play lose tons of ISK don't won LP or Standings but keep fighting.
THAT'S what i call loyalty.
FW has FAILED.
CCP Take back all the LP before you have killed all the game economy. |

You're dead right - it's a similar problem to that in the EvE FW system, only in Dust it's even more broken (since in Dust you can change your "loyalty"on a battle-by-battle basis)...
To fight in Faction Warfare, the "smart" way is to show zero loyalty to any faction, just join whoever is most likely to win, and reap the rewards.
I'm pretty sure that this isn't what was intended, and will only avalanche with time, as the winning side reaps the rewards of their involvement, while the losing side has to rely more and more on low-grade equipment for financial reasons, as they watch their former colleagues defect to whichever faction offers the easy rewards.
Clearly, loyalty is not rewarded. |

i am a gallente soldier i fight for gallente and to say that i have no loyaltys to the faction is a disgras
they are more caldari and ammar players then there are gallente and minmitar
i see caldaris from day one fighting for gallente they didnt have to they could have fought for there own faction but no
the reason why both gallente and minmitar are useally successful is because not ownly do we fight on our own faction but on each others
we faction sync 2 or 3 squads together while with caldari and ammar its useally every man for themselves
faction warfare isnt broken it all goes back to the faction people do not work together on this game and dont go complaining just because you dont no how to work as a team |

Easy to say when you're Gallente or minmatarr......
And lot of caldari in know is using gallente weapons.

ok let me tell you what i think and you tell me its true every few days i see a post saying AR are OP even though they have been nerved 4 times already but everyone is using the rail rifle and combat rifle more these days then the assault
you complain that shield extenders and recharge are broken becuase they got a little nerved but you were perfectly happy
using them and what not when they didnt have any peneltys on them while the armour plates did have penalties
not you are saying factional warefare is broken becuase your faction isnt winning i would put a -ú1000 on the table and say that if the boot was on the other foot this wouldnt be the case
on EVE gallente and minmitar are considered underdogs they have good armour and weapons but caldari and ammar have better weapons due to range and shields that can recharge quicker
now it seems you want the same for Dust were your faction has to be the best i have been in 5 caldari faction matches and every single one the caldari won why TEAMWORK you want to ***** and moan that everything that isnt what you used is over powered or is broken because you cant win
there is currently only 1 issue i have with factional and that is you can build a perfectly decent milita tank that costs below 100k isk and about 600 to 800 loyalty points
if you dont understand the concept of team work il point you to a game were you will feel most at home Call of Duty enjoy |

Let me guess, you didn't read the link to the massive thread that showed pretty conclusively that, even with a massive push from elite Dust corps with coordinated eve support, they still couldn't make any progress? And that the Devs agreed this was the case? No? Fine, go ahead and pretend that your ez mode is the result of your l33t skillz alone. Broken system is broken.
It's not worth my time to try and persuade someone who is incapable of examining evidence that contradicts their own biased views, so I didn't bother to track down and post the link to the thread during the last FW event (that Amarr dominated) in which we, the Amarr loyalists, pointed out that there was clearly something wrong with the battle queuing system which essentially assured that one side would always dominate because once a certain tipping point was reached the minority side would never be able to gain ground back.
But, you know, whatever. It's not like I've been in the Amarr loyalist channel for several months and still lose battles in squads with people in SyNergy, 0uter.Heaven, or AE that would eat you for breakfast. What do I know about FW and teamwork?

What do you mean inversely scaling? You mean if my faction were to gain more territory then I only get less rewards? That's punishing effort and counter to the goal of encouraging players to win matches.
