When I get home I'll check it out, though I cannot fly because KB/M = death.

Yep. Rail LAV is also good against tower snipers that are difficult to hit with missiles because no back splash. Also rail lavs are better anti air platforms. |

A turret that's good at everything? Missiles. step 1: get in dropship Step 2: man a proto small rail turret step 3: empty clip after clip non-stop into militia shield tank step 4: Realize that you will never kill this thing. Ever. Step 5: retire the small rail turret from use - ever.
I lost a Gunnlogi to an Assault Dropship with a small rail turret. I had completely run out of all my modules at once fighting a rail tank and didn't feel like getting out and recalling when I was probably the only vehicle he's killed in the last 15 matches.

I slightly disagree. Yes they're not as good as other turrets (missiles, blasters are a joke too), but I've done pretty well with militia rails and a damage mod against some tanks and dropships (it's the only way to fight in dogfights, missiles are not as good), and I've seen my brother snipe people with it on an LAV.
It's a hard-mode weapon and takes a little of what I call, "Skill."
