Imperfects were nothing until me and protoman made the decision to merge with them from G|C, Flux you Zitro's  (BETAMAX REJECTS :) :) :) :)
Imp's won the first beta tournament because we could spam dropships better and had alldin kan with his OP tank.
PC was the dream update
CCP didn't let us down on every patch.

i remember when we flipped that first TeamPlayers district, and then when the guys on the tournament team had a hard fought battle (without kalante :( ) and won the UF tourney.
it put us directly on top of the game and cubs graciously handed us kadlina. it was the start of our beautiful reign as king.

DUST is so broken, even my PS3 refuses to let me play it.

It was 300M. And if I remember correctly contrabanjoe was drunk and meant to set 30m but added an extra zero, we stepped in. Was an easy 300m.

Huh. The story I heard was CBJ was laundering money corp to corp through corp battles (was one of his 50/50 payouts I believe) and PFBHz snagged a heavy transfer.

I remember when me and regynum were both scouts and abused poor hit detection. A 1 vs 1 between us would last for a few minutes.
Back before aim assist wasn't OP. Going 20-0 used to actually feel like an accomplishment.
I remember when manus peak was a lazor light show.
I remember when you could just click R3 to use the nova knife.
I remember when heavies could shoot across the map with an HMG with enough points into sharpshooter.
When dropships were the gods of the sky.
I remember when scouts could strafe and the flood of tears on the forums.
With enough kin kats a scout was impossible to kill.
So many good times. |

I bought thousands of Charge Snipers when they only cost 2k ISK.
Now they're worth 47k (?) ISK.

i remember the closed beta like it was yesterday (mordu's trials, i beleive) the textures wouldn't load, then i quit the game.
the funny thing is i spent more time and had more fun playing Slay than i did the closed beta.

when there was a fitting soundtrack that played during games
all roles where viable (you could be successful in every role without having to grow a neckbeard learning the inns and outs)
