Umm some of us don't celebrate Christmas or living in countries that don't even celebrate Christmas...sooooo...it isn't like we are off and visiting family.
And also due to time zone for some people they are playing on Christmas day and attacking us on the Day but it is your Christmas Eve. (Though if I got Christmas presents I would be playing with that.)

I know people on these forums trash talk and tell others how to play and what is cheap and what is not. But hey ringers are part of the game. They aren't an exploit they are part of the game and allowed. So we have a network of friends we can ask to join.
Btw the last 3 PC's I was at work. So RL comes first. We called ringers who could be on those times. Sorry for playing the game. |

Not entirely accurate yes we declared ourselves an independent country on June 28th 1776 but the war for the right to actually be an independent country did not end until 1783. So even after the Declaration of Independence was written if we had lost the war we would not be The United States of America, we won the war war so in a sence America was "won". Oh and the constitution was not introduced until 1789 when the fat cats realized that the current Articles of Confederation left the government weak.

When defending and not being able to field a team, sure! Why attack when you cannot field a full team though? I am proud that my corp defended our district for a week fielding our own members. We used 2 of our Subsonic Engineering brothers but that was it.
Play how you want to play. I wouldn't be proud to be in a corp who did that.

The only time I remember really locking districts on a large scale in Anonymous was on thanksgiving. We knew most of the world didn't celebrate thanksgiving and we didn't want to be fighting PC on that day, so we planned ahead and spent a little isk. It's very effective and I don't imagine any one will consider it a douche bag thing to do if it's the holidays. In fact, it's probably the one good thing about locking districts. As many in PC will agree, there are a lot of things such as lag and FOTM tactics and fittings that you simply adapt to, rather than complain. PC on the holidays is one of those things. |

Well actually what makes it even more ridiculous is that these elite guys were British lol.
The amount of murder required to have actually won that war would have left nothing at the end, it was smart to just let it slide and most people forget that alot of the public didn't even support the war, family forced to kill family etc.
Its only great to those who don't actually know fk all, the reality is that its very sad and quite ridiculous it even happened really.
