The Gallente right now are enjoying victories rather effortlessly, allowing them to stockpile LPs and earn standings easy and fast. The Caldari, however, are lucky to have a few standing levels.
I was just recently kicked for "friendly-fire" when in fact I was doing my job as a missile Gunnlogi and destroying an enemy tank. I had just got to level 1 standings with Caldari (started the other day) and now my standings have almost been reset (16% towards level 1).
Now, it got me thinking, why not increase the payouts for the losing factions? It should allow players to be more equal in terms of standings and LPs, rather than having one player enjoying effortless wins and a stack of LPs while the other has to grind for one LP store item.
Increasing rewards should provide incentives for the good players to join the losing faction and help to reclaim districts and systems from the other faction. I'm thinking of at least a 2x multiplier if a faction has no control over any system. I think that should be a nice reward for winning against the odds.

I don't understand how this will benefit them more, as the LP and standings rewards will be increased for winning as well while the faction has less than half of the conquerable systems.
I just want a system that makes time more worthwhile when fighting for the losing faction. Today I probably played 10 Caldari FW battles and won only one. Now I just need two more wins to get level one standings (because the friendly fire bug got me kicked and I lost level one standings).
It makes me irritated how Gallente are probably enjoying high standings levels with stockpiles of LPs while I earn a mediocre 65 LP per battle and zero standings. I've even started to ask myself why I continue to throw away my proto fit tanks at militia tanks on the Gallente side. I'll be much better off running around in my BPO dropsuit that can't do anything useful because the match results will be the same, regardless if I pop five militia tanks or not.
I also somewhat wish LP rewards are based on WPs gained in the battle. Otherwise I could just AFK in the MCC and hope I can get in on some lucky wins (which I will do my best not to do, but losing battle after battle is a morale crusher)

But despite this, I wouldn't want to see the incentive to win disappear. Your incentive to win will still be there. Increasing rewards won't change it. Sure, you may earn 130 LP now for loosing, but you will earn almost 700 LP for winning! Your incentive to win will still be there, why would you turn down 700 LP per match for winning?

I'm almost guaranteed a loss every match just by looking at who's on my team. I was able to win only one match today because my squad ended up with two Q-synced squads and we actually quite surprisingly (or not so surprisingly) redlined the Gallente. Our best effort with just our squad and random blueberries still had us losing by a few ticks on the MCC.
I got my +75 standings from the win, but then I later noticed that I lost those 75 standings and I've no idea why (probably because a blueberry ran his LAV into my Gunnlogi?). So basically I got no standings gains today. Great. I can't even get back to level 1 and I need two more wins.

You help and fight for our people with everything you have no matter the cost... but because we lost we don't think any better of you so shove off and don't waste our time....
Is it just me or does anyone else feel this way when they loose a FW battle? I feel the same.
I'd imagine that the Caldari would be trying to bribe mercenaries to fight for them by giving generous amounts of LP and standings just for showing up to battle, regardless if it's won or lost. Do what it takes to make them push against the Gallente.
