Your point is invalid.
This is the most expensive free-to-play (or some call it free-to-pay) game ever. I have played since the 1st day of closed Beta, and have been an asset to this game, giving feedback where possible. The is my feedback for this STILL beta phase game-Full Respec is needed. Christmas is around the corner, all these PS4s Santa is delivering-come on, give us a reason to continue to play.
No it's not. If you want to look at it that way Dust will NEVER leave beta. They will always change things. Suits will be nerfed, weapons will be buffed, vehicles added. What you spec into now will not stay the same.
Besides that, I don't know how often I will have to say this, you get unlimited SP and you can spec into everything. There is not a single thing denying you to spec into tanks after you specced into infantry or vice versa.
Additionally: No other game allows for such kind of a respec AT ALL. If you play WoW and have your Level 90 Warrior the game will not allow you to suddenly change your warrior to become a mage. No game does this. All they allow is to reassign your skillpoints for your current class because the skillpoints in these games are limited.
The vehicle respec was needed. it was no favor to the vehicle users. It was needed because they changed the entire skill tree so that the SP vehicle users had already invested couldn't be transitioned to the new skilltree. This was the reason for the respec. Because of this you will never see another respec in Dust unless CCP decides the infantry skilltree is ****** up and needs to be completely reworked.
So instead of QQing all the time and starting 300 respec threads just learn to deal with it and save up your SP instead of wasting them on stuff you don't need. Because the whining never stops this is what I assume all you people do. I too made mistakes while speccing. I leveled Caldari Assault to Level 3 even though I don't use it at all. But instead of whining for a respec I just did what every single normal person would do: Just live with it and spend the next SP I get all the time into the suit I really want to use. It works wonders.
And no: There won't be a respec after all racial suits and all missing weapons are released either. First of all it is very well possible that they will release even more suits and weapons in the future. Also you can just save up for new items all the time. Geez. Even the RR and CR were announced early enough so you could say: I want to use them! Let's save up some SP! That's what I did. 2 weeks before they came out. And on patch day I was able to get both of them to level 5. It is so extremely simple.
Tl;dr There is not a single reason for a respec unless CCP thinks it is in order to rebuild a whole skilltree.
