It melts people at close range, great for indoors or hiding around corners. Also amazing when sneaking up on people. They can't even turn around fast enough before you kill them. I have forge guns, HMGs, and ARs all to around the same level (proto) New HMG is nice but I still find my rifle better at handling rail rifles, and since they're the hard counter to heavies right now, I'll probably still stick with my AR. There is no need to hate on other classes, as we all need each other to be complete, and without one class the other wouldn't be able to function properly.
