It melts people at close range, great for indoors or hiding around corners. Also amazing when sneaking up on people. They can't even turn around fast enough before you kill them. I have forge guns, HMGs, and ARs all to around the same level (proto) New HMG is nice but I still find my rifle better at handling rail rifles, and since they're the hard counter to heavies right now, I'll probably still stick with my AR.
