Some of the health on these bloody suits negate it's damage, I'm a level 5 minja btw, it's already hard as balls to get that close to a guy and now I need to keep my hand on the left bumper in case I don't put them down.

A buff to the Nova Knive's damage would certainly be welcome.

Getting shot dead after managing to get close enough to stob someone kinda sucks........

i'd say grab some proficiency skill if you already have Nova Knife LVL5 and a sidearm damage mod you can usually one shot anything but a heavy or proto suit.

I have minja Lv5, KNives and Prof level 5. It takes me three slashes to take down the typical proto heavy, or one charged and maybe a slash. Depending if I hit their head- which I try to do. But the knife has t0 be maxed out and you have to use proto for the knives to be worth it.

The problem is sometimes there is bad hit detection or the knives won't actually slash even though the sound plays. A charged hit is best, but in CQC after you get a misfire/bad hit you are going to be hard pressed to charge slash and are better off slashing. A tip I learned form Ozarow was that the recticle on the knives turn red when you can hit the prey. I had never paid attention to that because typically i am so close you don't need it. But it is still valuable because as you are both dancing around it is a good indicator to slash.

I've tried running complex dam mods, but it wasn't worth the shield loss. I like to assault knife tho. I can't help it

Today I might go back to knives- you end up missing it. Like when you come up on some poor fool hacking and you have to barbarically empty a magazine or more into them.. sigh. It pains me to do that. I miss the quick clean insta-blap of a beautiful kill.

Yea the armor buff has left heavies with almost 2000 HP so I highly agree a buff is in order, having to charge hit em twice with max knives an suit is bs

are you sure the knives are plugged in? did you try turning them off and then back on?

Someone was running nova knives the other and cut me like butter/...759 hp cut threw like nothing...then there was my proto heavy teamate that was also being cut like butter....his repsonse "What the **** was that? knives? who the **** brings knives?! Im gonna go kill him where is he?" ....dies a few more times my nova knives. It was a pretty funny match
