I agree with the OP. TTK is too fast, and has been for a while, and this is an easy way to fix it, IMO. I'd be in support of this (or something similar) to lengthen TTK. |

but even if this happened isn't this what proficiency and damage mods are for. everyone will still die about as fast, and there will still be just as many crybabies crying about TTK.

TTK needs to be increased across the board for everything... Except the HMG. Though I agree that the Rifles should be hit hardest.

Certain weapons don't need it. Sidearms. All forms of AV.
HMG.
Shotgun
Sniper.
Knives (a sidearm)
Minmatar Assault.
Dual SMG user. 200 bullets of hellfire.
I use speed and skill to win fights.

That's be a good start. Removing sharpshooter and proficiency should be next if things don't improve.
I tried to put a level into Amarr Commando once, but got a server notification saying "Why?"

Stop this TTK nonsense
As a scout TTK is very important to us and you need to leave it alone. We are quick to die but we are stealthy and tend to kill fast. You realize that if you increase the TTK for everybody, the precious moments where you get a jump on the foe become lesser.
For instance, normally when I get the jump on someone with my GB-9 Breach AR, I completely surprise them and deal lethally high damage before the baddy can shoot back or comprehend where I am.
If you increase TTK, the precious moments when a scout is ambushing an enemy would be less effective and give the enemy much more time to shoot back and probably kill the scout.
But that's my view. I've been playing with TTK of a tissue paper since Chromosome. You all should have learned by now how to play this game but apparently not. It's all about situational awareness and looking both ways before crossing the street.
