I find this most amusing.

In retribution for the griefing of my fellow Gallentean Aeon Amadi (who completely endorses this thread ) and more importantly for my own personal amusement, I have taken it upon myself to demonstrate how ridiculously broken FW friendly fire mechanics are.

Here is the tally so far:

231 'friendlies' killed
18 people kicked from match
5 Thale's destroyed (seriously, why would you use that in FW?)

And I have suffered a grand total of... *drum roll* 0 kicks!

Exactly one person has turned around and attempted to injector farm me back so far. I wonder how many morons will die before they adapt.

Not really, similar to how the internet lets people let our their true selves of sorts due to a lack of punishment and anonymity, how people approach an open ended game like this speaks of their own moral system.

I"m sure in real life he doesn't do this but this is most likely because of punishments more so than moral character.

An example of this would be flash mobs, where many kids wouldn't steal on their own due the idea of increased risk but throw in flash mobs and they are more willing to partake in theft and destruction of property. Meaning it wasn't the immorality of taking or damaging somebody's possessions that held them back previously but the idea of getting caught, and with flash mobs they opt for it due to the anonymity.

The way you treat other people behind screens says a bit about your actual moral system. It's not a direct 1:1, but operative is correct in his assessment unless you actually open up the same way in your dealings with other people out of anonymity. Otherwise you are saving your worst traits only when you are safe from any consequences.

New Eden provides this opportunity for players to unleash their sociopathic tendencies, so you aren't breaking anything and are in fact quite in line with the game.

As a contrast, I on the other hand can't even AFK in a pub stomp match without feeling extremely guilty, to where I can't even do it, let alone some of the other more harmful meta games one can make. So any negative response you get on this would mainly be from those who are themselves personally limited by their own morality.

if you are up for it, lets squad with someone with a PVR, log onto an alt and show how the griefing works in a video we can submit as a bug.
