the sniper scopes need inprovement. I feel that when i look through one i should be able to see where my shot will hit , not just shoot when it turns orange. I should be able to see the head of my target up close and personal like . most snip[er scopes show this , yet dust dosen't. , my other problem is that a lone merc can't make any isk in that what he or she earns has to go back into the suits or equipment that they use. Most if not all corps have a tax now that take isk away from folks that make over 100k isk. So re-equiping items that were lost on the battlefield or harder to get back in stock. i ask that you look into these please.

I'd actually be really happy to see adjustable scopes on the sniper rifles, even if it's just two set levels of zoom with three for tactical rifles. |

The problem is your sniping. Snipers do not make money. Go do something useful and you will make 300 000 isk a game which is quite profitable.
No you kill this blueberry hacking the CRU we are camping. I already killed the last 2.
When will they learn!

The person above is wrong. Sniping is fine, once you get good and you find all the good spots, and you do your job well, etc. The reason he says you'll earn 300k ISK (At your level, you won't) is because ISK is based on Meta Level. The higher the Meta Level of a fit, the more ISK you gain. He's either using ADV stuff, or Proto stuff because anything less only gets you around 100-200k per match. He's also more skilled, so he forgets that someone as new as you (I assume you're a new player, of course), will die often and need to restock suits.
TL;DR, Keep on sniping if you want, join the Learning Coalition for more help (We have a thread in the rookie help section).

I agree the problem is his sniping, he's not killing enough people to make it viable. Hence, it is possible to make money as a sniper because you're not meant to die. As a dedicated sniper early release it was quite possible to make 10 million isk or more a week.
Cheap suits, best rifle of your option, and lots of damage mods and a basic nanohive is all you need, keep the suit a cheap as possible to start with.

In the end-game, you can do whatever you want as a fit, but all of the best snipers you see are usually try-harding it (Including myself) with a Proto-Logi, Charge Sniper Rifle (I use the Kaalakiota Tac), Tons of Triage Nanohives, and some Ammo Resupply Hives. Stacking 3 Complex Damage Mods, and 5 Armor Plates. Warning, fit may vary, but this is what the majority of "pro" snipers run.
