So we had a decent weekend considering there was no 5x SP event and there were people probably having finals this next week. We are in the holiday season, which means more free time. We just need to grow the player base. Hopefully we havne't missed the boat. |

Past three months of concurrent online seems consistent while the same period for newborns seem to be dropping. Looks like retention might be improving.

How in the hell is CCP to market this game? How can I convince others to start playing?
Remember way back when, when CCP bought that ad on the fighters trunks? OR during the templar event that was advertised over the psn=DDOS. Or how about when this game didn't port over to PS4? (80mil ps3 >< )
This games only saving grace is to port over to the PC were the EVE community is. |

For those into technical graph analysis long and mid-term MACD shows downtrend on new players joining and it's rangebound on players online. This translates roughly to "there are less people willing to try out the game, but those trying it out are staying more often than not"...

I created a new character to work on a training guide. The battle academy had plenty of tanks in it so I'm guessing people were trying them out.

Raise your hand if you don't have alt... Especially one not made recently in que for the new racial upgrades and/or recruiment rewards...

I told them there was a free to play FPS by the company that made Eve Online, set in the Eve universe. "It is in it's infancy, but now is a good time to get in early, start forming relationships and earning skill points."
I also offered a million ISK to get them started. Once they got in game I baby sat them so the learning curve doesn't bend them over a mailbox.

What good is an alt in this game exactly? I mean, you could argue that you can use an alt to infiltrate a hostile corp, but that is kind of a stretch. If I made an alt I would have to raise all of those Dropsuit Upgrades skills to V AGAIN. 'Eff that right in the A.

This game will have a hard time growing if the new guys keep getting thrown in the proto/tank dominate pubs. unfortunately it seems it will stay this way. I had a lot of friends download this game. They had a lot of fun the academy but once they left, the game was soon uninstalled.
Everything I say or do has the utmost importance.
