For now vehicles are fine and there is no valid AV weapon for infantry that we use. Can we have removed penalty for doing dmg to vehicles?
This don't change much for vehicle superiority, but gives us some hope for 'doing' anything.

I think only heavy weapons should have this penalty removed because you shouldn't be able to kill and LAV with an AR

Don't forget all weapons have now something like 800 of DPS.......
Vehicules would die in one mag of assautl rifle in 3 sec........
With combat rifle LOL you just killed 3 tanks in 0.0000001 sec  |

If AV weapon suposted to do harm to vehicles dont do anything .. dont worry about light weapon. |

That being said, I wouldn't mind if light vehicles were more vulnerable to small arms fire than heavy vehicles. For example, an Assault Rifle might not even scratch an HAV, but a full, well-placed clip might put a big dent in an LAV (but not take it out). But there should still be a penalty, just a somewhat smaller penalty.
What's the difference between an immobile Minmatar ship and a pile of garbage?
The pile of garbage looks nicer.

I would say reduce the penalty for the HMG, and possible sniper rifles (I mean, it is a mini-railgun) but I don't really want to see LAVs getting one-clipped by a RR or CR.

Well, it's actually possible to 1-clip an unshielded Saga LAV with an ADV-level RR. Of course, that's the catch- you've got to drop the shields first, and be really close up.
But it is a good way to horde the delicious warpoints. |

In the interests of full disclosure, I've only ever done so with a single Complex Damage mod fitted, and against a stationary and unmanned LAV that appeared to have been abandoned by the enemy team. I sincerely doubt that I have the player skill to perfectly cook a Flux grenade and then hose down a Saga with my RR.
It would also not work on the Gallente LAV line, due to the, what, 233% increase in armor compared to the Caldari variants. |

The HMG should do damage to light vehicles and dropships, but this Dust514 you know. Logic not included.
