Tanks still dominated if you knew how to use them, it took skills before. AV was okay too. I never saw a halfway decent tanker go down to a solo swarm, or forge, or orbital. Tank mechanics were the issue. Rendering problems, hit detection, and having the terrian do the majority or your damage... But I've only been saying this for the last 3 flippin' months... and over & over all week.
