i run a variant of both after 1.7 came out. and i have reasons for why the tanks arnt all that OP. a lot of people are getting pissed because the blaster tanks are just destroying infantry lines. get over it, that's their purpose. the best way to deter this is to run a Rail tank. now some might say that a infantry av man could take him down, but that's only if the tankers stupid. it will take around three working with each other to really flip the scales in their favor and that's the way it should be. but the Blaster tank is lacking one thing, real power on the Turret. that's where the Rail tanks come in. they are meant for a large heavy shot that isn't very effective against infantry unless they are a fantastic shot. you don't need much aim to hit a tank. the Blaster tank has no chance against a Rail tank. so the lesson here is to have a strategy against Tanks. if you see a rail tank, you don't have to worry much, just keep moving. with a blaster tank, either form up or call in a Rail tank. that's what i find works best. and the most OP set up i could find for anti armor is a Rail tank and a Swarm launcher pair. you can take out any Tank in under % seconds like that,

in fact a single swarm launcher can still deter a tank from completing its job. all you have to do is get it to back off and you've won that battle

havnt tried the missle tanks yet. what are they best against so far?
