even at Level 5 scout and Level 5 dampening you will get scanned by Proto scanners.

Its a proto scanner. The best proto scanner. It better pick up everything. If someone paid the money for the best, nothing should get through.

The problem with scanners is getting a 360 field view regardless of what you use. Whether I run a standard or a proto scanner, I still get 360 intel. I think if puling the trigger stopped all movement until the scan was completed, that would make those scan degrees matter.

Everyone should be scanned by the best scanner, regardless of dampening. But the best scanner shouldn't be able to give you 360 degrees of scanning. Locking movement and looking around during a scan makes scanning much more tactical, and gives those dampened scout a fighting chance, since if they're not in the scan area, they are still unnoticed.

SL dumbfire, DS bumpercars, tank godmode, working NKs. All those moments will be lost in time, like tears in rain.

ORLY? It's a proto scout. The best proto scout. With complex dampening modules. Proto level dampening modules. Four of them. If somebody paid the money for the best and did not choke on sacrificing all of their slots on it, they should not be scanned. See what I did there? Not everyone should be scanned by the best scanner, irregardles of what protobear like you says. And none of the scanners should be able to give you 360 degrees of scanning. Best fix for this would be scanner doing a single flash scan of the range x span it declares, not emit a signal for few seconds. No movement locking, no nothing, you get a single impulse of 0.1 seconds and everything that's in range and span and with higher profile -- gets scanned.
