It makes the game less fun is what. I don't get very frustrated over this game, I just roll my eyes a lot. But here's my perspective why.
I can't deploy my Methanas
It's not fun for me to LAV, not for me. I agree that jihad LAV is viable and should be used against these HAVs, but I am just not one of those LAV drivers; I do not ***** out my LAVs. I run the kind with Blaster Turrets and gunners and try to do things. But right now, what's the point? It's semi-suicidal and there's less infantry to kill, they're all in Somas. I do goof around with my Baloch with around 4000HP and a CRU + turret. That was fun taunting the tanks but so pointless; I only got one roadkill and my blueberry gunner sucked James Bond Octopussy.
Very low satisfaction in their destruction
Taking one out. The first time I was pretty pleased, but then I made my own fitting....it was like 80k using enhanced modules.... these things are thick as flies and just as cheap as dead flies. No glory in killing these cockroaches. I get absolutely vaporized by HAVs because I''m a scout. I avoid they're scans....yippee! But then they see me less than a second goes by and I'm just toasted. I don't mind that, I understand, I am a scout. But these things are everywhere, these deaths just happen way too often for me to feel like the match is going to be enjoyable.
Nitro glitch is just the cherry on top
Yeah add lime juice to the wound. On top of it cooking my scouts, they are ungodly fast and it's like your survival is dependent on who has the better psychic powers. It's just

Nitro glitch got hotfixed last downtime lol.
I tried to put a level into Amarr Commando once, but got a server notification saying "Why?"

I just saw a Madrugar flip and go pretty darn fast....the glitch may have gone away but it sure feels like they are ungodly fast. |
