So I logged in 2 days after the update after hearing bad news from Corp members, I bought lvl1 Combat Rifle to represent the Minmatar weapons and damn, It is OP , fires super fast with bugger all recoil unless you are running/gunning melts people way faster than it should just like the SMG which I have said before has way too much DPS
Watching my 500+ shield caldari squad member have his HP annihilated by the Rail Rifle wondering why I was told it has a bonus to armour DMG ..... seems like a cool weapon but is hitting way too hard
The Scramblers now have to contend with the faster CR and longer range RR which is good but, despite that drawback the SR is still OP and needs whatever multiplier it base DMG on lowered
And Gallente AR is now the sideline weapon at the moment with everyone trying new gear but due to its high clipsize it is still a force to be reckoned with
but seriously .....
All 4 AR variants are stupidly OP, none perform as an Anti Shield/Armour because they all drain either HP type way too fast, for the future of Dust 514 I really hope that the playerbase can actually agree that the current weaponary is too strong and needs decreases to RoF and clip sizes
I won't even bother mentioning Tanks, they are insane |

C'mon, each of the racial variants for AR are too strong, It's pretty obvious and I really do not think it requires enough skill to be efficient with any of them |

I have used all AR variants bar the RR, And I can do well with all of them despite having little SP into the skills They are clearly too overpowered and the people disagreeing just want EZ mode all the time |

I want the guns to be effective but they need fine tuning quite a bit
I specced further into the CR today and it is deadly but I really don't think I have the right to own a heavy with it
I really want Dust to improve and I am happy with the game, I havent said anything is wrong with it
It is simple, the AR weapons are overpowered by one or more of these reasons
-RoF -Clipsize -Range -DPS
and it leaves little choice for other playstyles which shouldn't be the case |

I do take into account , prof. and dmg mods will increase DPS
but I spent the morning shredding all types of suits with STD. Combat Rifle and like chunky pointed out, the only delay on shots is how fast u can press the trigger again I went level 4 to try the assault CR which I loved, but again I was slaying above my class without prof. or dmg mods, I had no trouble killing targets.....
People keep taking skill into account, but realistically if you can't aim in a FPS you should quit, I don't see the need for such high DPS, when it is easy to place headshots ...... |

And really buff suits across the board rather than reduce weaponry ???
It is already pointless that Medium suits can almost equally tank up to Heavys HP
We need the game to be role-specific not just full of high DPS weapons that out-perform everything else
The fact that people can't or won't see that the weapons are killing too fast, in all racial variants shows that most players care for their own kills rather than the game being enjoyable on both sides |

I'm saying that none are confined to certain situations
the RR probaly does lack in CQC, I've not yet tried
but from my own POV the CR was hitting guys pretty hard even when they got outside my optimal range
and even if we do buff all HP that just makes anything not AR harder to use |

Nerf does not mean they will be completely useless afterwards All AR variants need to be fine tuned, atm it is too easy to use any of them People claiming that because they can do well doesn't mean OP are blinded by the fact that its easy, not skillful, it is easy we might as well advertise this game to the 3+ age category if it's going to stay in this position |

the responses are a bit 50/50
but a lot of you can't accept that they are too powerful. And so you know I have used , std - adv CR since I got it with games ranging from 10+ kdr to 20 +
I am having no trouble fighting others atm, but from what I have seen from my team and the enemy sides is that the weapons are too powerful and none are really specific to their role ....
next all the guys against this are going to try tell me that Tanks are not OP that we should be in a game with flying HAV's and Death Ray AR's ......
sounds fun |

TechMechMeds , whatever you are smoking over there, must be strong
because all 4 are too strong it's that simple
CR - it's ttk is super fast SR - charges up to much with a better fire rate than TAC AR ( Imagine the tears if the Glu-5 could place charge shots) RR - I can't post much here as I have not used it but from what I have seen, it may be tricky to use but even CQC its High DMG AR - It's still carrying way to much in a clip , 40 max it should be
all four are OP, so we can all either admit it, get it sorted and enjoy Dust or we adapt or die .... which I am pretty used to at this stage of Dust but in the hope of getting new players into the game I really hope it doesn't stay that way .....

A few days in and I am after hitting 30+ kills / 5 deaths
Mostly Assault CR ... No damage mods
Hell if its a case of adapt or die, I'm doing pretty well
but I still think as I have said before,
All four are too strong, or maybe its the crappy effect of dmg mods being stacked by bitches...
