R.I.P. HMG, you served me well, even when your were dying your were fun. 1.7 was your death but I will never forget you.

Flaylock is outright horrible. It's the only side arm you can really fit on a std min assault with a combat rifle and it is a piece of garbage. I've beat more people to death than i've killed with a flaylock in the last few weeks of attempting to try to make this side arm be not ****.

Uprising 1.0 was the death of the HMG imo. People didn't realize it then, but I saw it coming.
Nerf to dmg + range + nerf to heavy speed + no new heavy suit (problem because heavies needed a faster suit to get in range quicker, a shield heavy suit)
So here's 1.7 and people realizing the lolHMG is dead... you guys are late to the funeral.

Shotguns can get burried with them, range too short, damage too weak, too many shots required an cant compete with the auto spray an pray an hardly never in the kill feed, this really effects scouts, along with nova knives being that stealth is horrible. |

Shot a heavy with the advanced, he survived. Barely, but it was enough since I don't use sidearms with my cannon.
Shot a medium frame right in the chest, it literally went THROUGH him.
Splash was and is terrible on this weapon.
Horrible for AV.

A vet engaging enemies at maximum range did ok with a mediocre suit? No wai.. You could probably stick him in an assault and chock up 30/0 without difficulty. Just because it can be used to good effect does not mean the suit itself is inherently good. It's clear that its not lol. |
