After you win 200 matches for your faction and get level 10 standing, you only get paid 659 LP. This could buy you 4 prototype suit (just the suits) for a win. I'll be nice and round up to 5. Prototype suits cost around 58k ISK on the normal market. So 290k ISK per win, and only if you win. It's not uncommon to make over 300k for a win in pub matches. And if you lose, you only get enough for one suit which is only 58k payout? And then you have to subtract the ISK value you still have to pay on the loyalty store.
You do realize this is for level 10 standing, where you have to earn it through 200 wins? How could you think it was a good idea to go so low?
Can't have enough of these threads, this is a serious problem. I can't imagine why anyone would waste their time with FW with such horribly low payouts.

FYI CCP, if you have to earn 200 wins to achieve this standing, then it has to be considerably higher than pub match payouts where you have to earn nothing. And that WILL NOT make pubs useless, as you will still need them to earn your ISK to buy items from the loyalty store as well as any items your loyalty store does not offer.

What about the large population of Dust 514 who already spent the skill points the unlock things the normal way, huh? And even then, it's still not worth it.

Edit: I just bought 10 proto suits and advanced equipment I wouldn't have otherwise and it was ******* awesome! Proto rail rifle anybody? (That is half the CPU and pg of an isk proto alternative) It's not an alternative if it's not viable.

Why should it take 3-6 months for them to fix something which we can all agree is obviously not viable? And it's not anything hard to fix like core gameplay or anything.

But you still have to earn the LP buy from the LP market. And in the time it takes you to get some LP, you could of gotten a whole lot more value in ISK from pubs.
