the two i have been thing thinking about is
Breach Charges and Sleek Mines
clearly for two different purposes.
for Breach charges to be the AV versions with a small splash area. about .8m-1.2m i was think with high damage. carry 2 at standard & adv, 3 proto. active 2 standard, 3 advanced, 4 proto. i have yet to work the damage but something like 2500-2750range. maybe something module effect being less effect on them but thats for the devs to say they can or can not do.
while on the other side Sleek mines being for wide coverage anti infantry but much less damage then normal REs. the numbers i was toying with are 9m for 650 damage. carry 2 at standard, 3 adv, 4 proto. active 2 at standard, 4adv, 6 proto
anyone else want to chime in?

Yes, I want to see more mines. I'm at level 5 demolitions and....it's not worth it. |

9m...650 damage.. your joking right,you do realise that would wipe out probably 90% of the suits used in this game with 1 blast and at that range no one would escape. with people tossing RE like grenades already that range is just op

Right now there is really no incentive to skill into remotes beyond 2 at most. The basic RE are already capable as is and proxies remotes are great for trapping avenues of approach or escape routes for vehicle.However i don't seem to think that faster activation is really useful enough or rather i didn't see a difference. More damage per remote and carry more are the only things that help along with an increasing blast radius. More diversity would be nice. Anti-infantry remotes could blast over a larger radius and perhaps do 200 to 300. This way most suits may be able to survive one and heavy could soak up a bit if shields are up. For example
You can hold 2 basic 8m radius 150 hp damage 3 advanced 10m radius 200hp damage 3 proto but 12m radius 250hp damage
This way a singe remote won't demolish a suit (unless your a scout...sorry)but padding them in overlapping areas can help to maximize damage however this also makes them more easily spotted. It would take all 3 protos to take out most heavy suits. Fitting requirements could be about the same as proxies. More nanites than usual to replenish as well.

the only thing about that is they have to stand up against the standard type of REs, so the damge would need to be more and since CCP likes to keep all REs the same damage and all mybe 450-600 would be better then? since 3 RE would cover 15m if place correctly and do 1500 each well your idea would do 750 over 12m,see people wouldn't see the reason to do them then. it just need more work going over the math and im sure the right numbers could be found to be effective and have its own place.
