Kind of inconsiderate on CCP's part when vehicles get a full respec yet those meant to counter them get a swift kick in the nuts from the nerf bat and are left in the rain.
Swarms got nerfed, AV grenades got nerfed, FG got nerfed, 2 of which have become all but useless. I've tried killing tanks with my FG (Prof. V + 2 Complex Damage mods) and they literally just zip away with nitrous out of my range before I can even charge the second shot. IMO, the FG needed a slight nerf but you guys went a bit too far nerfing damage and charge time. The DPS loss, even at maxed out proficiency and damage mods, is still not enough to take a competent tank down even when they're on cooldown because they can just dip set at damn near warp speed.
Anyways, this is pretty uncalled for CCP. You can't just give one side of the coin a respec because you "reworked" them and then leave the other hanging dry. Most people I know who've specced Prof. V into Swarms have deemed them useless. AV grenades can still do some damage but never enough (even at proto) to actually do anything besides scratch at them before they zip away at 200 km/h.

The nitrous will get turned down.
Hopefully the charge time gets bumped back to 2.0 for the IAFG.
Beyond that, I don't think a respec is in order, the weapons still function in the same manner, the issue seems to be in their effectiveness.
Besides, I wouldn't want to spec out of something, into the current FotM, only for CCP to reverse their decision and rebuff. Would people cry for another respec then?

if your complaining about av sucking than you suck at using AV because you just have to know when to hit the tank if one ever appears.
simply learn new ways to kill tanks; only attack when they have no hardeners on; or use team work.
its that simple

I know some people who took the optional respec and went full caldari logi even though they didn't really want to, but because it was so dominant.

No, he is talking about something very specific, namely the DPS output from the proto FG, which is supposed to be the premier infantry AV weapon.
Personally, I agree with him that the charge time needs to come back down. It causes the heavies to put themselves in fatal risk just to get a shot in.
Leave the damage, and reduce the charge time. Lets see how that works for the next months patch and decide if it was for the good or not.

actually, when 1.0 first dropped it was the exact same thing, reversed. everything was "oh, you're just a bad at tanking" so, enjoy being on the ass end of the joke, I'm sure you'll be buffed to field domination as soon as the AR girls whine and CCP caves and makes tanks **** again.
Guess since I like driving tanks, I'm not allowed to have any fun, or even be remotely relevant to my team.

I know it seems like whining but it's a lot more difficult than you think, if a tank drops hardeners and suffers any kind of damage they zoom out of range. There is no weapon that can really reach them or alpha enough damage to kill then in that short of time.
Hard to know how much of this is only on account of a bugged mod.
You probably think it should be completely difficult to kill your tank but right now AV lacks the chance to even deter a tank. There needs to be ways to hit through hardeners, though maybe not in the traditional AV sense. Right now tanks throw hardeners and plow straight into battle regardless of any AV there...that should of never happened. Should have always had to take in your surroundings.

yeah AV got nerfed. but it was MUCH more than a MINOR nerf. and this "rework" your talking about CERTAINLY didn't nerf tanks. otherwise i wouldn't be able to build a tank cheaper than my proto scout suit, that cannot be solo'd and is damn near invincible.
Tell me, how exactly DOES a biscuit gain Valor?

Your tank costs more than 500k? that's... impressive? I didn't think you could fit a solid gold, diamond encrusted grill on scouts yet.
My tank is 487k isk, and it provides nothing to the team but massive, crushing alpha-strikes on enemy vehicles/instalations, and barrages of missiles to break enemy lines so the infantry can go mop up and take points.
Tanks lost variety, but gained survivability. AV needs to learn how to combat this, which to their credit, some have, and others haven't. If you can't learn, demand a respec, I guess?
Props to the infantry who killed my tank while it's hardeners were up. I hate you for killing my tank, but I respect you for being able to kill me.
