One I do not think the Combat Rifle is OP. To me the only thing wrong with it is the magazine. It needs 80 rounds per magazine not 68. The range is what makes this weapon balanced. Up close its a beast, from a distance it is Ok.
Second the RR is not OP either. Like the CR it needs a larger magazine. Maybe another 10 rounds. Its strengths are range but if you get close enough to the player and strafe just right it will be hard for the RR to follow.
I have heard a lot of answers to fix the current tank issue, so I will now tell you my idea.
Reduce hardener times, fix the militia nitrous bug, make tanks cheaper and prevent vehicles from being recalled once they are called into battle. Tankers may lose a few more tanks, but do to reduced cost it will offset the lose.
Reduce the number of tanks per board for each side. No more than 3 tanks per side. The reason behind this is, if it takes 3 or more people to kill a tank this would equal the number of people the tank can carry. So there would be equal people on both sides that are trying to capture objectives or defend them.
Give infantry a tank free play style. Example, A domination like area without HAV or DS. LAV will be the only form of transportation.

Message from Godin: other than those horrid ideas on the vehicles, okay. The new rifles do need a bit more ammo per mag. but that seems a little much. I was thinking 74 and 52. |

I was actually thinking the same thing about tanks yesterday. Now that they are unkillable and more annoying than absolutely lethal, EVERYONE is driving them and the battles are failing because no one is on the ground.
I figured you could spend the team vehicle points in the way that corps do during the alliance tourney where each vehicle has a set value and the total number of point may not go over the team cap.
Team cap 16
Tanks -5 DS -5 Lav -1
So team wide you could have 2 tanks, a DS and an Lav Or three tanks and an Lav

i like the recall feature, however, once a tank is recalled, the player should not be able to call in that tank again they can call in a different tank/fit but not the one recalled.

Except that i think Combat Rifles have just the Right amount of bullets, same for the RR, i agree with you. +1
