If your going to keep the TTK this short for the love of God lower the prices of everything by 50-70% even with advanced equipment I go isk negative.
And again good job on 1.7 I took the Dust of my ps3 just to play with the combat rifle. |

Or at least make a statement to the effect of -'We really do believe that TTK is completely fine.'
Force the Devs and GMs to play this game ON EACH SERVER -DURING PRIME TIME -AT THE PROTO LEVEL for 3 hour stretches.
Don't allow them to use their CCP accounts.
Don't allow them to tell anyone they are CCP employees.
Then re-evaluate TTK. We won't be so angry when we know you actually play the game you built.

Before I could go ISK positive with any suit, I could even do it before armor was buffed IN an armor suit. Now the best I can use is advanced because militia is far too weak, and proto is far to expensive. I can only imagine the pain newberries feel when they literally get melted by other players. |

I don't know if it still does it, but there was a thing where we could quote people that had their name changed and it'd show what it was before the change.

On my infantry account, the biggest saver of my budget is a logi with a needle.
Won't save me after every death, but it takes the cost out of enough of them to run mostly proto all the time.
I think if you had a logi with needles in your squad at all times you might see a better result on your bottom line.
If I may ask though, what type of advanced fit are you running?
Also, look into getting your FW standings up, then your suits get much cheaper, assuming you have the LP.

I also dislike the low TTK, and hope this will only be temporary. I have been thinking, as you mention yourself that you are going isk negative running even advanced suits, so is everyone else. Eventually more will be back on standard stuff on a regular basis, that is everyone else except corps that get isk from their PC districts.
Hopefully this will slowly increase the low TTK as more start to use cheaper builds. My only concern is the two new rifles, both having a ridiculus short TTK at both short and long range. The standard rails kills me quick at 75 meters and the CR melts me in cqc in a milisecond. Some players have laser percision aiming at 80 meters with the rail rifle. |

Read this dev blog about ttk, some see it as ttk is here to stay for the most part with a few tweaks

I think you'll find that most of the drvs have a main which is separate to their CCP account. |

Problem was that I was still using my old tactics of stacking lots of HP and destroying the world, since TTK is short and everybody and their grandmother uses active scanners I just switched my equipment from support to assault logi (I know I am ashamed) so I run a quantum scanner wyrm triage hive and the issue one hive I don't die anymore ;) but I don't do my job anymore as a consequence... |
