The following equations are for calculating the depleted delay penalty for complex extenders on a Caldari Assault suit and the shield depleted delay after the use of complex regulators up to the fifth module. Posting this just incase anybody wants to know how to do it themselfs.
The following is the numbers for stacking penalties:
1st mod: 100.0% effectiveness 2nd mod: 86.9% effectiveness 3rd mod: 57.1% effectiveness 4th mod: 28.3% effectiveness-á 5th mod: 10.6% effectiveness
The following equation must be calculated first. It represents recharge regulator module efficiency after the after the regulator skill bonus is aplyed (2% per LV). This equation is calculated at skill LV 5 and complex mods:
25 GÇó 1.10 = 27.5
The next equation is to calculate the penalty for shield extenders (7%) to shield depleted delay:
(The #8 that appears at the beginning of the following equation, represents the shield depleted delay for the Caldari assault dropsuit. If you can't figure the rest out just ask. I'll do my best to explain)
8(1.07) GÇó (1 + (.869GÇó.07)) GÇó (1 + (.571GÇó.07)) GÇó (1 + (.283GÇó.07)) GÇó (1 + (.106GÇó.07)) = x
Once the equation is solved, "x" is then applied to the next equation which calculates the affect that the complex shield regulators have upon the new shield depleted value, which was obtained through solving the above equation (or "x"):
x(1 - .27.5) GÇó (1 - (.869GÇó.27.5)) GÇó (1 - (.571GÇó.27.5)) GÇó (1 - (.283GÇó.27.5)) GÇó (1 - (.106GÇó.27.5)) = y
And there you have it you're all done.

Yep it works, looks crazy complicated because you're going all the way out to 5th mod but it's pretty simple.
I'd advise using a variable, say x, instead of 8 as that may cause confusion. Different suits have different delays
So x= suits depleted delay, y= depleted delay after extender penalty, z= delay after regulators.
Ideally the game should display this information and do the math for you.
Forgot to mention..in regulator formula you use 1-0.27.5. You have too many decimal points...should be 1-.275 or 1-0.275. You can extrapolate the rest. |

This is a fair analysis. The OP will remain the same. Thanx.

Or you can just use armor since it's way better than regulators anyway.
