Okay. they fixed the cancelling the scan animation-abuse. Great!
(at least took the straight sprint out of it - the may still be some crouch-uncrouch -thing left)

However, doing still a ballet spin with scanner gives full 360 vision.
 Not nice.

Feeling the scanner is too simple and off balance?

 Sooooooooo?

He spun around and scan the place. What's the big deal? You mean you would only scan in front of you because that's the "gentlemen's way of sparring"?

Please. If he wishes to "ballet spin" to scan the area, so be it. This is just funny that you're complaining about someone scanning in 360.

I'm complaining that I can STILL do it.

I'm pretty sure your not supposed to be able to do that. Kinda makes the recharge time useless when you can see ALL enemies around you for about the duration enemies.

I also could've sworn I saw one person today with the infinite scan glitch going, but maybe he was just using a really high tier scanner.

Remember the old radar screens that scanned a single rotating line and only lit up briefly?

Shorter scan pass should result in a reduced lit time.

 The problem:
 - Having a 360 degree reliable info, non-stop if you wish. This is (combined with short cooldowns) the biggest problem and a no-brainer mechanic
 - Scanner variants are supposed to be balanced by angle attribute. It is irrelevant meaning those variant which are supposed to be hindered by it rock on.

 Currently it does not.
That could be one nice solution though.

Dude man bro. There is something wrong with the Scanners. Yes they gimped the glitch where you can sprint. But my god. I scan people and the moment I move out of range of 100m, they all disappear. And the rescan takes SO LONG that I'm sitting there wasting my time waiting just to get a rescan. The locks of scan only stay in place as long as you are within the range of the scanner. 100m etc.

People are invisible otherwise. It's extremely frustrating right now because I'm practically blind when some goofball redberry is standing right next to me and I can't see him. The mini map is so filled with crap that it only works in one direction "60 degrees in front of you" when it should be radially based on skills.

So, please don't complain about the scanner and people spinning. Right now it's extremely flawed. And I'm speaking from a LvL 5, maxed skills perspective.

The proximity scanner will let you scan in a small range for a short time and 1 second after you can rescan again. But it's range is 65m and its timer is only like 4 or 5 seconds. It's pretty useless.

Sounds like a new bug to me.
Unless previously reported, maybe you should do that?
