Well the main reason why tanks can drive around like roadrunner is because the militia fuel injector grants +100% speed when activated. You may ask you whats the issue with that? Well first off that module is the cheapes module in its category. Second is that all other fuel injectors require to spec into them and only grant 30% boost not 100% like the militia one does.
CCP i think you added one 0 too much on that module and needs to be fixed. It cant be that a militia module is 3.33 times better then a complex module.
Im sure that some people spotted tanks that are faster then LAV's and dropships combined. This is the reason behind it and needs to be adressed.

I am all about destroying tanks as the next clone, but can we let the tankers have this one for a little while before CCP tries and fix it. Call it a gift and leave it at that.

That explains all the tank rallies. Zooming around like friction isn't a thing that exists and ramping off hills for seconds of air. Saw one that went so fast over a ramp that it rocketed into a structure on the other side and ended up flipping over from all the momentum. |
