Hey CCP, what happens when an EVE player is late to respond to an OB request?

Really no reason not to be ready, unless you want your ship to be blown up Dedicated heavy, tanker, and pilot. You could say i like heavy things.

Some even manage to get 3 orbitals down every 3 minutes if there are enough requests.

I'm not saying that you should be grateful but perhaps local started to spike or the pilot needed to burn off the satellite for some reason. there is as much if not more going on in space as on the ground.
