ok they screwed up again. im running a heavy with a gatsun forge gun I call in a car and was chased down by a std tank that was faster than my car and he just ran me over, I couldnt outrun him in a car. then I postion myself to kill the std tank he had like 2200 sheilds and 900 to armor but for some reason I could barely hurt him with the badest forge gun with complex damage mods. by the time I charged for another shot he was healed and now eberyone using a tank becuase they are super fast now and heals super fast now..ccp been working on this game for 2 years and still cant get it right |

Yup you have to hit him when his actives aren't on.

Sounds like you just shot them while their resistances were up.
Hit once, stand by, and after cooldown starts hit him again.
Also cars can do 90 degree turns. On a dime.

or u could always do cheap tactics
militia lav 30k i think + RES which are 1.5k = dead tank
u have to put them on hood first there now sticky

1. 1 player vs. 1 tank usually favors the tank
2. AV is no different now than then. You have to use timing. A good tanker can never be brought down by brute force, even pre 1.7.
3. Keep at it. Once you get the habit of popping tanks, you'll see that those pesky things disappear...

You tried too hard. Even if that was a PC, using a Gastun's isn't worth it.
And BTW, people wanted a full respec because Tanks are now the only viable AV, as they changed Swarms, Forge Guns, and Vehicles alike.

I dunno I was sorta good, and a single guy with 3 Packed Lai Dai could see me off if I wasn't running actives.

I killed a tank earlier with my remotes. They work pretty well. Just wish I could have more of them / they did a little more damage (unless hardeners were on then fair play)

they are just to fast I see about wqiting for avt mod to cooldown but the speed makes them the fastest ride out there. I seen tanks catchomg air amd out running lavs now |
