I had just finished my first match after only just turning on my PS3. The game ran smooth however at the end of the match during the match summary, as I was going through the tabs - for no apparent reason the game just went to a black screen that said
"A Fatal error has occurred, please turn off the system and try again" (Or something along those lines.)
I could think of no reason it would do this. It happened as I was looking through the different tabs of the battle summary screen right at the end of the match.
(Not on this character - The character in question was CommanderBolt)
Afterwards it sent an error report out and now my PS3 is running a check on the system files as the machine was not shut down properly. Just thought I would report this issue. |

Hi,
I got the same message yesterday after playing FW match for Gallente but I saw this being in quarter. Maybe those informations would be helpful for DEVS:
Character: Isaac Alnilam
Time: Around 23:00 EVE time
Region: Europe
Place in game: Quarter
Scenario after which I occured error:
1. Play a FW match for Gallente in a squad with voice on Corp channel
2. Deactivate voice from Corp channel
3. Leve a squad
4. Go to Dropsuite Fitting panel
5. Error shows

I tried to play another game again - same issue. Went through the entire match then right at the end, this time before the end of match summary even came up - "A fatal error has occurred"
This is a serious issue, I cant even properly finish a match. |

I have deleted and downloaded the client and I am still getting this error.

Well I have played a few more matches today and fingers crossed, I have no ran into this since.
I am going to play a few more matches now and see if the issue is really gone for good. Maybe it was just patch day / post patchday hiccups. |

just has the same error after a re-install, after character selection.
first time i could use hte ps button to quit and restart, second time its frozen the machine |

Just had this happen to me. Not much i can add to the reports above.
I had only played a few matches this evening when this came up. I had played for a much longer stretch yesterday with no issue. It gave no error code.

Same here, but I get it after every single FW match. Can't ever see the stats, or anything, just goes into the "Fatal Error" and if I restart the game, it happens again after a FW battle (Using Gallente as the only FW selection.)
This is very frustrating (actually, irritating) since it now happens after every single FW match,
Male or female, noob or pro, my SR is steady, and my trigger ready.
Walk or run, if you're in my scope, you will die!

In my opinion this is game breaking especially considering how I am one of the coordinators for a coalition of FW Corps and Allainces. I cannot do my job, and as of earlier today I can no longer diplo because I am now getting this bug simply by sitting in my merc quarters for any duration. This is my favorite patch since "Full release" and I can't even enjoy it...

Just to add some information -
I played many public normal (I.e NON FW battles) matches last night and I had no a single issue, so GOOD JOB in that regard CCP.
However - I think there are issues for people with the FW battles specifically, though having said even that - I played a FW match yesterday with some old corp mates on my main and also had 0 issues so I'm not sure what else to say at this point. |

I've been going through this a lot and i still get my LP/SP. The real question is how much could you be earning if you didn't have to restart after every match. That is what really gets me. I only get so much time a week to play. Now half that time is spent on system resets. |

Across 3 different alts, since 1.7 hit I've gotten fatal errors 3 times, always at the end of FW matches. I've also been "frozen" 5 times, 4 of them in chats with more than 50 members while in merc quarters, once just now trying to join pub match with squad.
Not new, just new to you.

Its not just FW, I have yet to play any FW matches (most of ny friends are banned lol,) and I have had this issue nearly every match. |

I have to say, a few days on now and apart from that 1st day I was having these problems , I am still yet to encounter it again.
I have heard people are still running into this issue but it is very confusing. I dont know what else to say. Does CCP have any ideas what might be causing this?
Because I did nothing different and the problem just seemed to go away :S ? ? |

I still get this error every once in a while. I have no idea what is causing it though.
I've made some topics and posted before about this issue but no DEV replies as to whether or not it will be fixed. |

I get fatal errors at random times. I have not had one for a week but instead I had a black screen of death the other day that corrupted my file systems, I had to do a file check once the PS3 rebooted. I dont like the thought of DUST killing my HDD.
No word from CCP? That is the most worrying thing. I keep sending information to SONY and CCP when this happends. |
