No I did not misspell to title, but I think that it may indeed be a fitting name for the officer rifle that shares a VERY similar pronunciation.
For those English speaking people who are unfamiliar with the word, wiki defines it as:
Bollocks: The word is often used figuratively in British English and Hiberno-English, as a noun to mean "nonsense"...
If we translate this whole thing to American English we get the following sequence:
Balac's = Bollocks = Bull****
And there we have it, the Bull**** assault rifle.
I thought that this stuff was pretty important, and that I should of course share this with the community right away.
Your thoughts?

Speaking as an Englishman who uses the word bollocks often, it sounds noting like balacs unless you have a cold then they may sound similar.
TEST signature please help me think of a better one.

I don't understand the point of this thread. Are you saying the Balac is bullshit?
Shield regeneration bonus for Gallente Assault is about as useful as Sharpshooter for Nova Knives.

Well, in my deffence, I am an American. Our pronunciation of the word "Balac's" is probably slightly diferent, which is probably where the discrepance is coming from.
But, as an American, I have sucsefully turned the "Balac's assault rifle" into the bull**** assault rifle. It seem like the forum AR QQ was right all along.

Your first mistake was expecting there to be a point to this thread.

I love this weapon. When I do decide to use it, its not against regular players. No its for proto squads that want to run trains on poor blues. So I pull it out with my tank fit, I call it my slayer fit. I love destroying them and watching them as there weapons and suits cant handle the abuse. No one I have met can last longer than a half a magazine. So save the weapon for those who think they can hide behind a suit do to lack of skill

I'm an American too but obviously I pronounce it differently than you. The "Bal" in Balac's I pronounce as I would in Balance and the the "ac's" I pronounce as axe. Thus I pronounce it as Balaxe; whereas Bollocks I pronounce as Ball-ox.
Never mind the president, let's overgrow the government.
